  • Hey everyone! In this video I'm bowfishing on a river in Kentucky. The plan when I started was to shoot any rough fish, but it ended up the grass carp were the only ones who wanted to dance. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video as much as I had filming it!

    You can see because you are there and have polarized glasses. Is a polarized lens filter available for your cameras? It will allow us to see what you see.

    Now that many states are allowing the use of processes "Asian" carp for bait, do many bow fishermen//ladies sell to the processors?

      @waterpredator7826  Před rokem

      I know there is a processor near Berkley Dam in western Kentucky that a lot of Bowfisherman bring their fish too. But I’m not sure on other states

    Nice shooting! What do you do with trash fish like gar and carp?

    • @waterpredator7826

      Thanks! It depends on what state I am in. Some states you are aloud to puncture their air bladders and through them back into the water. When you puncture their air bladder they sink to the bottom and crabs, turtles, minnows, crawfish and many more eat them. In the states that don’t allow that, I talk to farmers and ask if I can though them in their fields for fertilizer. Also some states you can sell them, but I haven’t had luck with that yet.

      They do! When I was down there I would fry up my gar, but in my opinion it was the best. It was a little to rubbery for me

    You're shooting a 3 barb. Pick those fish out of the water with the arrow! lots of time wasted grabbing the gaff & messing around. Meanwhile there's 10+ fish getting away!

      I was told 8 a day but I don't know if the game warden was having a bad day and just said that because he did not want to look it up .
      I would think the silver carp would have no limit for sure !!

      @waterpredator7826  Před 3 lety

      I would ask that question on the Kentucky bowfishing page on Facebook. I’m not from Kentucky, but when I was there I was told there is no limit for silvers, big heads, grass carp, and common carp. I’m not sure if there is a limit on Buffalo or not.
