Van Halen Live In Pensacola (MTV Spring Break 1995)

Van Halen kicks off its 1995 world tour in Pensacola, Florida. Jon Stewart introduces the band and conducts interviews with Sammy, Michael Anthony, Alex, and Eddie in between segments.

I was there for this concert and got to hang out with them and Jon Stewart.....I was a paramedic for the county EMS service.....phenomenal concert and great guys to hang out with!!

I verified the claims some of you commenting here made about this concert being in Pensacola, FL and I'm glad to say you were all correct. I sincerely thought it was in Phoenix, AZ simply because MTV taped most of its 1995 Spring Break specials there. I apologize for my mistake. I stand corrected.

Had this on VHS, great performances... Balance is my favourite Van Halen album. I remember rolling on the floor laughing from Jon Stewart's description of DLR singing at 40:50... Mike and Sammy laughing their asses off too... great times

This was indeed in Pensacola. There are a few minutes before Jon Stewart's appearance that you apparently did not record, where Pensacola is explicitly mentioned as the site of the concert. I am a collector and have this on DVD. I just watched the beginning again to confirm what I said above.
But you don't have to take my word for it - there are a number of Van Halen sites dedicated to concerts and the collection of live recordings that can confirm this.

If it was Pensacola, I apologize. Mtv taped its 1995 Spring Break specials in Phoenix. So, that's why I automatically assumed that this VH concert was filmed in Phoenix. I even have footage of other artists performing in Lake Havasu, Arizona. Is there any way I can verify your claim? I'm very methodical when it comes to uploading videos on CZcams. I like to include venues and the dates. So, if I'm wrong in some info, I like to correct it as soon as possible.
