'67 F100: It Runs!!! 351w & Tremec TKX FIRE UP! Crown Vic Front Swap Getting Closer!! Holley Sniper

We got the mild built 351 Windsor in and fire it up with the new Holley Sniper and temporary fuel system. Sounds so good! Vince also got the Tremec TKX transmission in. The Crown Vic front end is in and setup. This project is getting closer!!

Hey so howd you get the longtube headders to fit? Any custom fabbing or anything? Ive got a 73 with a 351 windsor and was tring to find a way to get the long tubes to fit? You said they where 351 not 302 headders that you got from market place? Any idea on who makes them?

It took a lot of working with them. Definitely had to massage the tube around the starter. The bolt holes didn't line up very well at the header flange. I think if Vince bought them new we would have sent them back. He was just determined to make them fit. After driving a bit in his truck it cranks over slow unless you let it cool down. My guess is that the starter motor is too hot being so close to the header (since it's got heavy gauge power and grounds and the timing isn't high during cranking.) The guy he got them from had no idea who made them and there were no markings on them.
