Temperatures have reached sweltering highs in multiple regions across Asia since early April 2024, crossing the 40°C (104°F) threshold in some places. Governments in Bangladesh and the Philippines have ordered the nationwide closure of schools, sparking concern from small businesses who rely on students as customers. Dozens of people have died from the heat across several countries, including Thailand and India.

It depends on where you stay and whether there is any greenery. Temp forecast is 29~38deg daily in my district, going up to scorching 40~45deg in northern, but my wooden hut in forested area records only 28~31deg indoor temp.
So its still quite bearable with fan or using a/c only in afternoon, while morning & late evening is quite cooling with natural breeze.
The main problem is over urbanization concrete & air pollution trapping too much heat, with excessive abuse of a/c in commercial sectors creating lot of artificial heat, while many trees & greenery are removed, thus losing the natural cooling elements.

Have to say this for many people because this isn’t widely known (except for those who suffer from dysautonomia and/or chronic hypovolimea)- just drinking water isn't always the best choice to drink for rehydration purposes. People need to add a bit of sodium chloride (salt) and potassium chloride (frequently used as a salt substitute) in approximately a 1 to 3 pinches ratio of each plus a TINY amount of sugar (carbohydrate) at half a pinch quantity to the amount of sodium and potassium.
This amount of additions can be used with about half a liter of water.
Stay safe people who live in areas where temperatures and humidity are expected to be high. Stay well hydrated and try to stay cool.

Fixing the climate problem isn't as simple as "planting trees". Forests that have existed for thousands of years cannot be replaced with a patch of bare land with tree seedlings. Furthermore, it is estimated that only 1 in 4 trees planted mature into adulthood, due to the worsening climate and often irresponsible planters that do not take care of the seedling. The biodiversity would also be severely impacted if only 1 species of tree is planted in a region. The carbon sinks lost from deforestation also cannot be replaced by the replanting of trees in the short term.
