A plaque, at reading level, shows the respect for men & women of the War... In my opinion.

I grew up in Camas, Washington. From the mid-'80s to the mid-'90s.I love that town. I have fond memories of that place. It certainly has grown over the years. But hasn't changed much.

I was pleasantly surprised, I like the new series and Camas of all places. Such a great town, I always looked forward to visiting my family around the holidays ( Dad was military). I chuckled at the team high school team mascot, as you were driving into Camas, the paper/pulp mill is on your right, can't miss it!

This is quickly turning into my favorite series! Little hometowns with historical downtowns are my weakness 🤗🫶💕🏡

3 minutes in, and I'm already loving this kind of walking tour video. It's very comprehensive. Keep them coming.

Wow! Not sure if time and finances will allow for in-person walk about and driving tours like this one all over the nation, but I really like this format. Maybe show the actual home listings advertised so you can see what you could get and add the research stuff you normally do, but I really like the in-person touch over just the internet pics. I think we may make a stop in Camas on the way to visit family in Washington one day now. Thank you.

Whatever the orange car is, I love it. I zoom in my videos to clear the hood.

Millie the dog is to promote bronze sculpture. Check out Wood village when you go to Troutdale, Oregon. It's one exit from Troutdale along the river. Go to Halsey St and you'll find Old Town. Lots of shops. Ask a local where the bronze museum is. It's on the left just as you pass the overhead arch. Georgia Gerber, creator of Millie, is one of the artists. There are many other bronze statues downtown Portland. During the riots last year you may have seen the destruction of the Elk statue. It's back now😁

Don't know when or if you have ever visited Downtown Vancouver, WA. It used too be a nice downtown and it still is. And that part of Downtown has really developed. Especially along the Water front.

You TShirt is amazing! Loving it! And the town looks lovely. Trees are always a sign of a good area! Thank you for the video!

Hi Mr. Briggs, I love the new series! You may consider checking out Neosho Missouri. I don’t even live in Neosho anymore but in my opinion it’s absolutely one of the more beautiful small towns in southwest Missouri. It’s also very friendly!

Portland native here who grew up in Milwaukie Oregon and now reside in nearby Wahougal. Downtown Camas reminds me of downtown Milwaukie (both are located along a river and have a small town feel). The paper mill in town (

I would suggest Leavenworth, Washington. Besides being a pseudo Bavarian village, the area is great for fishing, hiking, skiing and any outdoor activities you might like.

You should have included the view of Mt. Hood on the drive to Camas. I don't know if the paper mill is still running but the smell can get a little obnoxious if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

Just moved to Camas in October from Salem and it’s the best! Growing up in Indiana small town population 4,800 I know a thing or two about small town culture! Camas has monthly family events on the first Friday of the month, amazing schools, town pride, wide variety of shopping options, and friendly people. Couldn’t be prouder of our new hometown!

I live a little outside Bothell and enjoy taking a nice long weekend exploring Leavenworth and Lake Chelan. It's nice to get away from the traffic 😉

This is great content Briggs. I live in the UK so small town America is a mystery I want to explore. Much more interesting than cities and tourist spots. I'm a veteran too like you...bad knees, bad back, tinnitus..you know. 😆
