Rui Silva what is a "typical" death metal vocal sound to you? to me this is absolutely pure Death Metal-sounding, a little bit influenced by the early inventors like Dave Vincent (Morbid Angel) or Peter of Vader ;-)
well i like guys like Svencho of Aborted or Julien from Benighted because they're diverse, other then that i also prefer the old school style, not too low, understandable, raw and because of that more "brutal" than all the brutal death metal bands haha :D
These are not typical death meal vocals. Theyre vocals influenced by hardcore. These are like the vocals used on Cryptopsy Whisper Supremacy. Compare those vocals to the album prior to that: None So Vile, and they are very different to each other. Not classic death metal style vocals, nor are these.

Early inventors =/= Typical. What I've found out lately are these vocals that you can't understand crap
