Having been booked to give a talk at Fethering Library, successful author Burton St Clair invites his old friend Jude to come along. Although they haven't met for twenty years, Jude is not surprised to find that St Clair hasn't changed, with his towering ego and somewhat shaky relationship with the truth. What Jude hadn't been suspecting however was that the evening would end in sudden, violent death.
More worrying, from Jude's point of view, is the fact that the investigating police officers seem to be convinced that she herself was responsible for the crime. With the evidence stacking up against her, Jude enlists the help of her neighbour Carole not just to solve the murder but to prevent herself from being arrested for committing it.

This author is unique. I marvel at his observations of humans. He doesn’t rush anything, it evolves as reality naturally does. His humor is lovely, it doesn’t hit you over the head meant for you to hee haw, instead tickles with clever original humor. He is a prolific writer that makes one think, he must have started writing in his elementary years when some of us hadn’t learned the alphabet. He doesn’t burden me with impossible problems. Like I said this man is Unique.
Love his work! Characters, story, voice, just perfection.

You can tell this narrator is also the author , as you can feel that he enjoys reading his work,I don't know how he does it,takes me all my time to write a shopping list and he has written so many books it's amazing and each one is just as brilliant as the last,well done and keep going. 😊😊😊

I completely agree- they are turning into "friends", they are such opposits it's very refreshing and believable.
