Method is such a good movie, knew I had to watch this because my favorite actor Park Sung Woong, didn't disappoint! Glad he took on this role knowing it might cause some controversy or even a hit to his career. This shows how good of an actor he is and he does not shy away from controversy.
I honestly think the younger guy really fell in love with the older but the older didnt.. His wife said that he does this with every new acting partner since he considered himself a method actor so he’s used to it. I think that the younger really thought they had something but when older just blew it off as nothing and said everything was just a part of his method acting , he decided to get back at him, to hurt him as badly as he could and also to prove him wrong about his acting.
this is also what i think. i feel like you can really start seeing it happen in the reading scene where the younger guy gets really surprised but continues on acting

I think Singer fell for him first and the older one fell for him at the end, too. At the last scene, he was worried of Singer being dead because he thought Singer might have been hurt due to hanging scene.

for all of y’all that didn’t understand the ending. The play was a revenge, yeongwoo was upset that Jaeha said there relationship was fake so he wanted to get back at him by showing him all we’ve done is fake it’s just “method acting” (even tho he did love the man) both of them loved each other at the end but they both knew that can’t be together. So Yeongwoo left the finger behind symbolizing a loss. And Jae-ha (older guy) had to continue on with his life with his Wife since she was willing to accept his flaws.

I don't think I can rewatch this because of the ending, I tried but stopped at the middle. Also many people in the comments are saying that it's rare to find Korean BL's but there's actually a lot of content out there. You just have to look for it.
most of the comment on that are usually older, this year many Korean BL was released but just a few years ago they were extremely rare and even harder to find for an international audience

Thats why he went on that method acting rampage and decided to defeat Jaeha at what he is best in for having hurt his hopes and heart. This is what I think and I think jaeha deserved it for hurting the young boy just because of his inner conflict of liking a boy

Film its self is a rare master piece both in script and acting. An amazing and intelligent plot i.e. beyond gay theme as such, with some excellent acting by both the leads. Highly recommended.
It's beautiful edited * - * I love the movie but I'm so sad about the ending T_T I wish they would've end together. Everyone sees Jae-ah's Girlfriend as the victim and she kinda is but the thing about her is that I feel like she is really manipulative. Every normal woman would've end the relationship and noz try to get him back on her side with sex, almost destroy their carreers and then take him back after showing him that they would never be able to be together. Just the way she hold his hand at the end of the movie. She was taking advantage of his unsure feelings if it was the right decision to leave Yeong woo. Oh god, I would love to analyze Yeongwoo too because I feel like he is an very komplex character who has many sides but that will probably take to long XDDD Thank you for this awesome video, it's really good (y)

I felt for Singer, he really fell for Walter and was ready to throw away his whole future for him but for Walter it was just another play/acting that got out of his control since he is a method actor. Yes, Singer fell for a married man but I can’t really feel for the wife since she knew perfectly well that Walter would get lost in character and that it has happened more than no once, others might’ve left Walter a long time ago but she willingly stayed by his side knowing he would cheat on her. No one seemed to warn Singer about this fact. She knew it would happen not if it would happen but when. Walter was Singer’s first male lover, he really fell for him and ready to destroy both his idol and actor life for his love. But to Walter, Singer, was just another character in play that got out of his hands do to him losing control of his reality, that Singer seemed to be another innocent notch under his belt type of experiment. The reason I say another innocent notch under his belt is that it was alluded that what happened with Singer was not the first time Walter has gone “Method” acting with his scene partners.
TØP Clique but very Honestly, even though i really wanted them to end up together, i cant really blame the wife. I dont see her being manipulative at all actually. I mean, imagine this. Your husband of years whom you have loved and cared for with all your heart is suddenly completely uninterested in you and is technically cheating. I would be pissed af but even though, i would never just up and leave him. I'd do my best to keep him in my side. If it all fails than thats it. I'll just leave but I'd make sure that fucker who cheated would have some consequences from cheating on me after giving him my all. I dont blame her at all and actually feel bad for her. I watched this movie because I like BL themes and usually hate the girls in them actually. But i couldn't bring myself to hate her because I actually felt horrible for her,i mean she didnt do anything wrong and wasn't being a bad person either

What do you guys think of the end? I believe they both felt something but Young woo was disappointed with Jae Ha at the press conference when he didn't want to accept their relationship. That's why in the play Young Woo pretended that everything he did was to get a better performance.
In the end they were both shitty people, sorry to say it, his girlfriend deserved better. After all Jaeha cheated on her and Young Woo is crazy for going as far as breaking into their house several times, I doubt it was just to play the perfect Singer on stage. That's a legit crime, guys. Toxic deserves toxic but I guess the movie also shows forgiveness in the role of his girlfriend? It's really complex which makes it so good.

Young Woo became crazy for love, we can see that at the beggining of the movie, he was really cold with everyone and then he became closer with Jaeha, he was in love with Jaeha, or Singer was is love with Walter. When Jaeha didn't want to admit their relationship, he gets crazy, he was broken. And then, Jaeha said that is was to make a better performance, that they chose to act like is they were their roles, so Young Woo became Singer.
At the end I was really thinking that he was about to kill himself, but now, I think that when Singer killed himself, he died so Young Woo became the cold guy again. (sorry for my bad english)

It’s still taboo, I was going to say in America, Asia, Oceania, Africa and Europe but I realise that all continents still have countries that are unaccepting. I live in the Netherlands, the first country to legalise gay marriage in the entire world, but it’s still hard.
Hopefully, in the future, it won’t be about who you’ve fallen in love with but rather that you’ve fallen in love.

I hate the ending of this movie, but its still beautiful
This movie is confusing at times but I watched it again and got a better understanding of everything. They both clearly have issues. With how they handled relationships and feelings it was all very childish and messed up. Tho they did grow on me, I still have the need to be disappointed in how they handled everything. I did love this movie a lot tho.
Adding, In the beginning of their relationship it wasn't stable in the firt place so that does show it would be hard to work out.
I always thought when wl i find somebody to love that cares for me a lot and takes goodd care of me for life threw tuff times and sad times they would still be with me
