Fantastic mate. Great to see a video that's not stuffed with silly music over the top. Great to hear the kids enjoying themselves

Never seen the countryside around Dubbo so green. Will be a good season for the farmers if it dries out over summer.

Did a lot of flying travel including international over the years mostly all business related. Not so much these days. Never been to Australia. Farthest east was Riga, Latvia. Always enjoyed the entire flying experience. Your videos are the next best thing.

Look how green it is, and just think how unusual it is to be so wet, we have had 4 very wet years now and not one extra dam has been built. This country is a mega fail

Why would the gear come down so early, is it to help with speed management on the descent ?

Something the aviation industry likes to call "speed drag" basically. Because the wheels are flipping heavy. It naturally pulls the plane down. But keep in mind the plane is still going at a safe flying speed. In order to counter this. F4 must be applied. That way the aircraft is now in landing. To answer your question it's to withdraw drag from glide slope. I hope I haven't melted your brain

@@Starvazeoddly enough, I did see a CZcams video of a 747 drop it's wheels on short finals, much later than normal
