Some of those drills are really inventive and I can see where they would work in game situations. I'm not skilled enough to do even 95% of the stuff he was doing but I like the one where some one floats a puck from behind him and he has to react quickly to pick up that puck and shoot/pass. Also the drill where he at the side of the net and takes the puck from a passer behind the goal line forehand and then roofs it backhand.

Arenas are always foggy in the summer due to heat difference and it's probably new ice.
