Yes, I am a huge fan of the traditional enormous Green Christmas 🎄 tree. I want colour. There's no Christmas without red and green decorations/ ornaments 🎉

My aunt gave me all of her Santa's several years before she passed. I put them in my hutch every year. I just love them.

OMG I LOVE THIS!! It’s so nostalgic and refreshing to see ACTUAL Christmas colors and Santa…I’m so sick of seeing all these “neutral” Christmas decorations, don’t get me wrong they are pretty and aesthetically pleasing…but it’s CHRISTMAS! I really do miss seeing these classic Christmas colors, no one seems to do this anymore, everyone has hopped on the “neutral” ban-wagon, again that’s pretty but, it doesn’t feel like classic nostalgic Christmas. To each their own, but yes it’s so refreshing to see Classic Christmas Colors…thank you!
Watching your decorating videos has become a new seasonal hobby to enjoy with my 75 year old mom, she's a big fan now too! What I love about this theme is that it is cozy and familiar, nostalgic but also modern. It's like a warm winter hug with hot cocoa and fuzzy socks lol. Brilliantly beautiful, not overwhelming or gaudy in any way, it's sentimental and festive! I could just imagine the scents of pine and berries and sweet treats all over the house.
I've done the red & black buffalo check theme for a few years now, but seeing the traditional red plaid again has made a believer out of me -- I'm going to switch out for plaids and music-sheet ribbons to go with my Nutcracker Ballet theme, I'm looking forward to it now! Thanks again for another pearl in the vast sea of Christmas decorating videos!

Hi Brittney! I too like the old fashioned, nostalgic Christmas Santa decor! I've collected Jim Shore Santas for years and just love those jolly old men! To me, at 69 years old, the old fashioned Santas remind me of Christmas as a kid. Your tree turned out absolutely gorgeous....the most beautiful one I have seen in a very long time. Balsam Hill can't be touched when it comes to quality. If I could afford it, I'd be buying a ton of their ornaments! They are all so beautiful I wouldn't be able to make up my mind!!🤣

Autumn feels short because we interrupt it with snowflakes around the house so I like a light festive decor after Thanksgiving and as January approaches, it turns into winter decor.
I'm Catholic and in the Church they say that you should start celebrating Christmas from the presentation of the first Advent candle at Holy Mass on Sunday, I think at the end of November to beginning of December

With more than fifteen, they pop up in nearly every vignette throughout my living room and have migrated into other areas of my home.

I come from a small town in Sweden. If you decorate ANYTHING AT ALL that has to do with Christmas before Dec 1st, the WHOLE village will talk about it and it really is not ok. Now I live in Los Angeles and I put up my Christmas tree in October and first decorate it for Halloween, then in November I switch to Christmas. And I must say I LOVE IT!!!!! Love to be an adult and do whatever I prefer haha ☺️🥰❤️ I’m such a Christmas lover and I can’t wait for your decorations! I have the same Christmas tree as you 👏🏼
Just beautiful. As nice as other colors are in trees and decor I seem to always go back to red and green . It’s warm and bright and so cozy. Ha ha. Your dog at 6:04 sitting on that pillow and looking outside. I'm planning to start decorating this weekend. I ordered new trees this year ( ours were getting old / probably 10 years old ) I decided to go with all flocked because we love the newest one we have which is a flocked tree. Your tree turned out so pretty. I love the traditional theme!! and the ribbon is so pretty !
haha, I love that you noticed Buddy on the pillow. That is how he sits for most of the day, just about everyday. He loves that spot, looking out the window, waiting to bark at the neighbors cats. So excited for you to get your new trees! I was in the same boat, 10 year old trees, it was time for a new one for sure.
My family and I decorate the day after Thanksgiving but I think about it when fall starts start planning wants to see it in the stores. The excitement begins.
Love your decorating all year round but especially Christmas. I live in rural Australia, and usually start decorating at the end of November. This year though my daughter ( 25years) wanted to start decorating -she never gets involved. However, we did start on the 11th of November. Yah! Now our house has started to look a "lot like Christmas".

That’s a beautiful tree. I live I. Canada. November 11 is Remembrance Day. A day we remember out troop. We wear a poppy to remember then. So I usually don’t put any Christmas untill after that day.
However the weather has been amazing, so the outside decor may go up

Tree is gorgeous Brittney. My tree has been up for 3 days. Just waiting til I can decide how I’m doing my ribbon. Always the most troubling part for me. I’d love a balsam hill tree. Definitely on my wish list. I contacted them regarding to Halloween decorations for the uk and they are starting to get some in next year. I take my tree out of box and set up and fluff it over a few days On Thanksgiving after dinner I take out my ornaments and all the family

I am fully decorated inside!! 🎄 Outside soon!!! We decorate early because it takes a long time and our family come to town on Thanksgiving and I turn all lights on Thanksgiving night (although I have been enjoying them every evening 😂) some of the family do not come to town Christmas so I do it for them.

I usually wait until Thanksgiving to set up the tree. But the tree is up early this year. I will decorate the rest of the house inside and outside the weekend after Thanksgiving!!

I have to begin decorating relatively early, like late October each year. This is more manageable for me as the calendar fills up with engagements. Plus we host our family for both Thanksgiving & Christmas. They appreciate seeing the rooms decked out! The earlier you put the decor in place, the longer you can enjoy seeing the beauty & joy you've created, & time is freed up without feeling rushed & overwhelmed.
Gorgeous gorgeous tree!! You have such a beautiful gift for decorating! I have done my big tree with the Santa theme for quite a few years. Each year I add a few special Santa ornaments!! Love your flying Santa at the top!
