Beautiful! Perfect size! I initially wanted supper tiny locs (800+) then I had to come to terms with the fact that I don't want that much maintenance. I have been trying to find someone with "medium sized" SL I absolutely love yours. Do you know how many locs you have?

Yay !!! I need to do a consultation so i can start my journey . I'm torn between 2 and if I want to cut my hair starting off short or with length. Wish I had 2 folks to do mine even though I can't stand two people touching my hair at once ( like braiding gallery's try ) .want to start mine next moth
+LaToya Freeman short is most definitely much more reasonably priced (sisterlocks) and honestly I believe it's probably because they're twins and kind of have like a syncing which makes it work

I absolutely love your locs. I had medium locs before and I really miss them. I want to get locs again but I'm leaning towards sisterlocs now. I really love your locs. I took out my dreads because I had a major change in my life and I kept comparing my hair to other youtubbers. I'm gonna get locs again but this time I'm not gonna compare my hair to everyone on youtube and I'll process any emotional trauma a different way if I can lol. Can you recommend anyone in the valley?

I love your install! The only thing I didn't like is that you can't have a straight middle part but that only counts if you're a middle part type of person.

How many do you have? How much did they charge. I had a consult and was told that mine would be $1600 dollars. 13 inches of hair.
Around 400 and it’s was 1k seems a little bit expensive but not unheard of

I paid $1200 Canadian about $900 American dollars and my head is tiny, probably 7- 8” of hair and low density. Enjoy your journey

Your sisterlocks are gorgeous! I like that your hair fell into such a nice shape. I know you said she cut some length before install. Did you get it cut into a style or just trimmed evenly? My install is in September and I'm debating on a trim of the ends or a full bob cut before install.
+JoliCaSSoNade thanks hun um I guess you can say it was more like a all around trim not really a styled cut which I prefer this because when it's done it may fall differently so I was cut down to 9inches all around and congratulations on your upcoming establishment 🙂👏🏾🤗

+Vanessa Smith that's you hun I really don't know what size I have ...I do know that they are on the larger size when you had you consultation did you discus that with your consultant? My advice is just discuss it with you loctician and let it be known that is what you want 👍🏾 good luck
Waaaaaaittt a minute! They hurt?? I'm trying to weigh the pros and cons of possibly going the route and hearing that it's painful sucks.
My scalp was raw from me cleansing it so the tension of the locks being put in was painful but it also depends on your pain tolerance I’m tinder head if getting individuals was tolerable for you I can imagine that having Sisterlocks installed would be on the same route...hopefully that helps 🤗

I wouldn’t let that stop you once it loosen you’ll be fine and once again it not even hurt you it’s a small con to the sisterlock lifestyle pros 😃
Your hair looks so good but when I saw it, I got worried. You had such a nice full head of hair before you started and your hair shrunk but that was o.k because your hair is full and fabulous. I don't have that type of thickness, not even close. If I get sister locs I will look like Smee from Lord of the Rings. I will just follow your journey and live vicariously through you.

My scalp was extremely tender from washing my hair and making sure my scalp was clean But it is tight like getting individuals

You had to get your hair cut before you got them installed?
I got a trim because I needed a trim haven’t had one in years some ladies do cut their hair to save money on their establishment

+Nopety Nope it depends on your length hun and location for your establishment price and the re ti also depends on your loctician but under or around $100 is typical for my area from what I've experienced

Yes normally there is a flat price and it increases by length so it’s not an “extra” charge however you pay DO pay for length
