Israelis launch raids to prevent occupied West Bank eruption, emerging as new front: Analysis

- Rami Khouri, distinguished fellow at the American University of Beirut, told Al Jazeera that the military raids were confirmation that the Israelis are moving to prevent the occupied West Bank from erupting in confrontation against Israel amid the war in Gaza.
Israel and US forces, which Khouri described as being almost “synonymous” now, have in the past week clashed with armed fighters in the West Bank, Hamas fighters in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and smaller armed groups in Iraq and Syria.
“That’s six active fronts. Relatively low-key, but exchanging fire and people killing each other,” Khouri told Al Jazeera, speaking from Boston in the US.
“They don’t want the West Bank to emerge now as the next one,” he said.
The Israeli raids are trying to end Palestinian resistance in the occupied West Bank. Resistance which they have failed to stifle since the start of their occupation of Palestinian territory in 1967, Khouri said.
“They’ve been trying to do this since 1967 and look where it’s gotten them,” he said.

I agree, the story of Palestine shows how much the Western media has worked in sync with Israel to silence their 75 years or more of atrocities towards the indigenous population in Palestine. This is whilst marketing Israel as the only democracy in the Middle East. Many black and brown people have known all along how racist the media can be, always silencing the voice of the real oppressed. However, I also feel we need to start the story regarding this war before 7th October. Especially saying “ok” that way over and over… most of the females doing interviews here ,I’ve noticed, move to new questions less abruptly/rudely.
Al Jazeera does amazing work and I listen faithfully … I just wish that people weren’t cut off in the middle of their sentences when they are not droning on and on repeating themselves.
I feel the segments need to be a few minutes longer to allow time for the people being interviewed to answer the questions fully without being cut off :/

Lankan army started the war against LTTE in 2008 with the help Israel military advisers and Ukrainian pilots.
With the support of USA, UK, India, Israel & Ukraine Sri Lanka conducted the war against the separatist LTTE.
They managed to roundup by bombing indiscriminately and brought almost over 200,000 people along with the about 20,000 Militants into a small area.
Later they shelled these area indiscriminately killing over 100,000 people and militants.
They also dropped phosphorous bombs from plans with Ukrainian and Israeli pilots.
This area was closed for over 10 years so there will be no traces of the massacre could be find.
No one was found guilty of any crime or genocide because of India & UK not supporting an investigation.
I fear this is repeating in Gaza now, where all 2 million people were cornered to a tiny place, Al Mawasi near Rafah.
If no one interfere, It could be a similar slaughter in Gaza seeing a death toll of 500,000 people.
