Hi there. The neck pickup and the flatwound strings give it a very un 'Filtertron' tone.

Hi John. That was the clean channel of an EvH lunchbox head, with a Keeley compressor, and reverb from a line6 Helix Stomp.
Are those the stock flat wound strings ?
yes indeed they are.
Why the foam under bridge?
Loan guitar. They come with it at under the bridge as it’s not a pinned bridge, so it stops the top of the guitar getting scratched.
Damian how does this Guitar compare with the G5420T? Which of the 2 played better and which one do you think would be better value for the money? Thank you
Depends what you want to do really? This is limited to jazz/ blues/ swing really. The 5420 is way more versatile. What’s will you use it for.

it is quite wide mate..but I was ok with my Hobbit fingers, so prabaly fine for most.
Can you fit a humbucker on it?
In the bridge you mean? It has a humbucker in the neck.
