the crazy thing is that this doesn't feel like an acapella at all. it feels like instruments are used when in reality, it's purely all human voice. plus it's insanely beautiful, from the song to the video. so freaking in love 😍

Not purely voice for this one. The clapping sounds are done by slapping the thighs and chest with your hands. One of the videos in the lower corner showed them doing that. Nothing against that, of course. Still no instruments used, and still an amazing piece.

This is one of my favourite songs and I like this cover maybe as much as the original, which is saying something as I normally never ever like a Sting cover, especially for this song which is my favourite. One day I wish I walk in the desert and listen to it

Be Water what a silly response, Waldgeist celebrated Hollens ability to accept others, which Peter demonstrated through by making a video like this, and you go on to rant about how backward a culture is. you do realize that accepting someone has nothing to do with that person's disposition, or their country of origins culture for that matter? particularly in the context of christianity, where we can see even Jesus's own parables about the good Samaritan, helping someone not of their race simply because it was, the right thing to do, regardles of what may happen to them.
for you all, "not all Arabs is Islam, and Islam hasn't always arab! Think with insight expanse, not narrow, do not just look at the info on your land alone!" and Islam does not like them (CNN, FOX, ABC and Hollywood movies) portray, read the Koran and you will know what real Islam
Around 700 AD Islam sprung up .. I think most people realize that Arabs are not all Islamists... this of course is a small comfort while killing and destruction is going on.

I've never heard this song before, but it's amazing, and very catchy. I've lost count on how many times I have pushed replay.
I find this much better than the original! Alaa Wardi's voice gives me shivers, it's ingenious, and Peter Hollen's voice is surprisingly non-opera considering both his and String's habits, much more complex and mysterious. I love it!
