Ex AA Van - Removing The Racking & Bulkhead - Camper Conversion

Hi guys and welcome to our camper conversion series!
In todays video, we are removing the old racking and the bulkhead. We got the van home and did it the same day.
It was a lot more tricky that we first thought, there were just so many bolts in awkward places but we got there in the end.
Our neighbour, Guy ( who has almost every tool under the sun ) stopped by a few times to observe and offer some help.
They both figured out that drilling a hole in the corner of the shelving meant that Shane could get a tool down there to get out a bolt in the very back corner.
There are some more detailed bits I missed during the removal as our baby was in the middle of getting ready for bed so I had to make sure I got her sorted out.
Then the bulkhead came out, that was t too bad. Shane just had to disconnect the wires up in the top corner.
Our friend, Warner, had all the racking off us and someone else had the bulkhead, so we were able to get rid of that the day after removing it all.
Then the flooring came up, which was pretty straightforward. It was so greasy and dirty underneath, cleaning it seemed to take ages but we got there in the end!
Next up, the pop top is being fitted, and then the windows. So keep an eye out.
