Like that Nicholas Kirby fellow. He spoke at length about how he tried to keep Erika Patterson away from him, and how much he wanted to beat Brooks up, while putting himself at the scene 20 minutes in advance of the crime. All of that's bad for Brooks and just sprinkles some extra icing on top of the state's case. Why do they need to follow up on that?

With this, the jury is witnessing the psychology behind the crime as well. This will certainly help the jury make their decision to find him guilty without any hesitation.

And I’m just referring to HIS behavior being frustrating to the jury. I didn’t even bring up the trauma this case can have on their mental health as well. Hearing from medical examiners, seeing photos and videos, hearing from victims, impact statements, etc. that’s a lot for people and to have the power to make the decision on someone’s freedom, it can be a mind f**k. I hope the jurors can get some rest and mental health support after this if needed.
