I had left iphone for 4-5 years after having an iphone 5, just to explore android (and really liked it), and returned luckily at the green 13. Awesome device so far.
Except for the fact I felt that my 13’s battery is aging… it could barely get me through the day with a single charge with heavy usage… low power mode is important

I think the 15 only makes sense over a 13 if you’re coming from a really old iPhone or you’re an avid photo taker. But picking between one or the other as a first iPhone, the 13 is still really great value to this day
My girl cousin in her teens she still have iPhone 11 she not upgrade anytime soon unless something happened to her IPhone 11 she will get a new iPhone most people don’t have iPhone 13 most people still buying older iPhones

I got my iPhone 13 last year and I’m still very happy with it, it works fine for my uses and I’m planning on keeping it for as long as possible. The 13 has to be my favorite iPhone, out of the ones I have had (along with the iPhone X… I LOVED that one).

Got my Iphone 12 for a month now frm 🇵🇭 and it’s still amazing and loving it ❤❤❤
One thing that in a few years will show, the 13 has 4gbs of ram like my prior iPhone 12 had. I have 15 now and it’s a nice upgrade from the 12. I hate the notch or the island so that whatever. The outdoor screen is good and I can use my phone outdoors now without struggling to see it with sunglasses on. I miss lightning port because it’s smaller and I have tons of cords. I had to buy more with the change over.

Well, let's just say I thought the extra 200 quid was actually worth it. And honestly I'm not dissapointed with the 15, it's actually a really good phone.

currently i have the iPhone 13 but i´m considering upgrade it to iPhone 15 this Christmas the13 for me is good enough but the 15 is much better a very nice upgrade.

I vowed to only upgrade every 2nd generation. (BlackBerry to) 3GS to 5, but the 6+ swayed me, then the 7+, 10x MAX….. HOWEVER then purchased the 10XR as a secondary phone and am still rocking the XR in 2023.
I love all things apple but had to pump the brakes. Would rather spend to money of an experience over the slight upgrade camera upgrade to photograph the experience. Plus… I can just use/buy an actual camera as that is basically the primary version updates.

I got the iphone 13. But I want the 15 however no high refresh rate with its high price though the usb port is tempting. So i’ll just keep my 13 until the base model iphone has a high refresh rate.
The 13 is the sweet spot. Same chip as the 14 and nicer colors thann the 15. Upgraded from an SE3 to the 13 Product Red after Apple dropped the 13 mini from their line up. No regrets as I get 2 days of battery life from the new phone.
14 has extra gpu core.

I’ve had the IPhone 13 Pro and now the IPhone 15 Pro Max. The camera on the pro max is on a whole other level. If you take pics.. this is the phone. Otherwise, the phones are quite similar. So if pictures are not a priority for you.. stay with the 13.
The battery life is alot better and so is heat management.

My iPhone 11 appeared to be dead (it got stuck in what appeared to be the boot loop of death but came out it). So anyway, of the three choices I had, I decided to go with the 15 and after watching this video and a few others, I’m glad I made that choice. This phone is so different from my 11. I’ve only had it for a day, so I’m still getting used to it. Thanks for the video!

The deal-breaker for me was lack of physical SIM on the iPhone 15. I travel a lot internationally and need a physical SIM chip option.
Buy the phone while your overseas & eSIM your U.S. number to it.

This isn’t true. The iPhone 13 is better. It’s notbc is not ugly and dynamic island is. Not everyone can get the latest and “greatest” so we’re happy with what we have.
I changed my iphone 11 pro max only because of the brightness of the display. On a bright day I couldn't read anything on my phone. I had to look for a shadow to reply to the message. It was really annoying. At this point, the phone was losing basic functionality for me. The frosted glass helped a bit. I currently have a 15 plus and I think the display size of 6.5 inches as at 11pm was perfect. Apparently the iPhone 16 is supposed to be even bigger. I really can't imagine it anymore. At work I always carried a phone in the back pocket of my pants. Now I hold him in my hands like some celebrity. I also miss the lightning port. Therefore, I recommend switching to 15 people with really older models. 13 owners have nothing to be ashamed of. These are still great phones. Sorry for any mistakes - English is not my first language
The 16 is getting bigger but the bezels are shrinking like the 15 pros so the size will be slightly smaller, rn the 15 pro max is slightly smaller than the 15 plus.
your english is good, and yes the iPhone 16’s are going to be bigger but only the pro’s the normal 16’s are going to stay the same.
I'm on the 13rn and it's doing pretty well. No plans of upgrading any time soon.

I upgraded from the 13 to a 15 this year. My 13 broke on me but insurance basically give a a full refund so I upgraded to the 15 pro. I’m loving losing the notch and 120hz refresh rate and I haven’t even used the camera much yet which is a big reason why I decided to upgrade. The Dynamic Island is pretty cool tho lol

I have iPhone 14 in purple for a little bit over a year. I was thinking of iPhone 13 in pink last year. Even iPhone 14 in blue,too. My carrier had 1/2 off of the iPhones or any other smart phones last year. Maybe I will get an upgrade or not. I still liked my iPhone 14. It is the first iPhone w/o a home button on it. I still have my iPhone SE(2) in white as backup. Even iPhone 8 in silver grey. I liked to look at iPhone 15. I like iPhone 15 Pro in that blue color.

I still really love my Iphone 14 cause i use it as my main phone everyday but im thinking of getting the iphone 15 next year cause i really like the dynamic island and a bunch of other things that the iphone 15 has that my iphone 14 doesn't have at all like the data speed when it's charging or if your transfering things too.
I am definitely in the minority but I think an upgrade from the 14 to the 15 is worth it for the same reasons you mentioned. Plus, after you sell/trade in your 14, you're not paying all that much more for it

How can I disable smart hdr when taking photos from the iPhone 13?
Go to settings then photos and there should be a toggle hdr setting in there. Turn it off. It should say view full hdr.

I purchased the Iphoge 13 (starlight 128gb), and I am shoot with it for my purposes! For satellite connectivity, use Garmin hand hand finder, instead of USB port, use mag charger! For pictures buy a canon/ Nikon camera! I will keepmiphobe 13 until iPhone 18 cones out, in Canada data plans and iPhone are much more expensive, so we got to be frugal! Thanks for the video!

I don’t have social media, games and other apps on my phone. I use a lot of the stock apps. So I would choose the 13 if I was going to upgrade today from my iPhone 11. But I don’t plan on upgrading for a yer or two. So perhaps in 2025 I’ll upgrade to the 14.

That is the question, but the processor is only one year's difference. I'd wait for the 16. I have an iPhone 13 mini and I think it's not enough of an upgrade. Yeah the phone's better but every year they're better so I'm going to wait one more year

iphone 13 and 14 colors were way better imo. The 4 new colors on the iphone 15 are a washed out pastel girly colors…..can’t imagine guys excited to be rocking any of those colors. No starlight for iphone 15 is a bad move. So, that leaves the black as the only choice for me….if I was to get one. But I will keep my 13
I just upgraded to iPhone 15 from iPhone SE2 but TBH as much as it has more features I don’t really get much use of them so I probably should have gotten the cheaper iPhone 13. And the colors on the iPhone 15 suck imo. Just different shades of white. It is way better than what I had though.

I paid the same for my 13 when released as I did for the 15 that I bought my wife this year. You cant use today’s pricing as a comparison. Well you can but the fact of the matter is the 15 is the latest and greatest. Worth $200 more at today’s price. Absolutely. We pay cash for our phones but if you get it with a contract it makes no sense to buy/choose a 2 year older phone.

I dont think the brightness is that of a big deal.. since 13 can go 1200 nits outside.. real experience the difference is not relevant unless you want to get blind watching hdr content on 1600 nits brightness.

Latest news suggests that near future phones will have chips and software that can run AI algorithms locally, like snap dragon 8 gen 3 latest showcase; rumors about iOS 18 featuring Ajax, apple's own LLM that'll work only on iPhone 16 and onward, Google's Gemini exclusive to pixel phones. Considering this is it a good investment to buy iPhone 15 right now for 799 just for it to get old within few months, or buy the cheaper 13, and shift to a newer chip that'll run AI algorithms locally, in the next 2 years? Or is this whole AI running locally on phone chips just a gimmick and may not be the next big thing except corporate marketing?

I think that if you are in the market for a new iPhone and you don’t want to go with a pro the iPhone 13 is the best bang for your buck. It’s pretty much the same thing as the 14 and 15.

My little sister just got a 13 & my older one got a 15, i personally couldn’t use either for various reasons but their good phones.
DXOMARK camera scores, iphone 13 score is 125, iphone 14 scored 133, iphone 15 scored a whopping 145, this is a HUGE gap in terms of camera quality (the 15 blows both 14 and 13 out of the water)
i think the 15 brand new is absolutely worth it, you have better Cellular modems, better battery life, a faster A16 chip with 6 gigs of RAM, much better camera, and the dynamic island and a brighter screen plus USBc and all that, its definitely worth it, the 13 is still an awesome phone but not worth 600 from apple, better to buy it used for like 450 and that's a huge price difference

2000 peak brightness outdoors until it overheats in 2 minutes.. then it auto lowers it... specs look good.. real-world doesn't hold up at all lmfao
and no sim card tray in the 15 is a complete deal breaker.. i like to switch from my s24ultra to iphone to pixel all the time based on my mood. esim is so dogsht. you have to call carrier to switch IMEI number for security.
