David. I love gaff cards. I saw this video and immediately bought the books and all the cards. It's been am extremely fun read and is by far my most favorite gaff deck ever. Thank you for the review and showing us viewers books and magic we wouldn't have considered buying.

Great review David. Had been on the fence before the review mainly because of the price, but have now placed my order. Thanks !!

@@magicorthodoxy I think it is a good price. The Magic Rainbow was also for the same price.

Great review as always Dave! By the way, I had an original Deland automatic deck in the ‘50s when I was a kid came with a single sheet double sided instruction. Tinting was rather small back then.

Great review as always. But it would have been nice to have you give a quick overview of the Madness part of Mystery and Madness. Not go into detail, but just a Cliff Notes take on it.

DeLand was a troubled soul. I assumed RK touched on it.

oh THAT. Yea, I wanted to keep it strictly about the magic aspect, didn't want to dwell "full book report" into his life. LOL

I'd be interested if it was cheaper (and didn't have the gaffed cards), it sounds interesting but I doubt there is anything in there I'd use.

    Hello.
    Congratulations on these books reviews.
It is sad to see young generations of "magicians" who know nothing about the history and the concepts of magic. They rely on CZcams tutorials because they aren't accustomed to reading.
Sleight of hand tutorials and DVDs are ok. Nonetheless, if one wants to sense and to comprehend the essence of this art, books are fundamental.
I have never read Eugene Burger's books since they are quite expensive. Have you read them?? Could you do a review??
What about The Books of Wonder by Tommy Wonder??
By the way, you have not reviewed the classic treatise on magic theory which title is Our Magic written by Maskelyne and Devant.
    Thanks.

What do you think about young generations of "magicians" who read nothing.
