It's amazing how somoene actually came up with how to build a jest engine. It's so complex it's crazy.

Nice kit. Would be cool to have leds light up the combustion process.
That would make me buy the model straight away: LEDs for flow temp with colors from blue to glowing orange and a proper motor to run the thing quietly and continually.

Cool exposition piece. If it were a bit quieter... well I guess one could try and silence it up.
I suppose that if you mount it with soft compounding material, lubricate and grease some of the bearings it could end up spinning rather silently. At that point one could really think about leaving it going much like a lava lamp.

This is such a cool museum quality model. Unfortunately scam websites are recently stealing your footage and advertising this product at ridiculously low prices.
Just sent this video to my daughter. Shes in the Air Force and works on the jet engines for the F-15s.
Almost all is ready to construct a plane.
That bell housing on a real jet engine is all one part, made of inconel, and is over $1 Million for that one piece finished machined part.

An amazing kit, slightly miffed at how loud it is, it looks epensive and well made and i'm sure it couldv'e been almost silent, still love it though...😁
Can be used to fly a RC model?
Of course not. A jet engine burns fuel and we can see this has transparent parts made of plastic that would melt at the first second after ignition. Apart from educational purpose, this has no value and is a waste of material.

@@Alongfortheride693 I understand but if the model is made of steel in theory I do not see the problem? On sometimes finds people on CZcams who make artisanal turbines with equipment that seems much less quality. Hence the question. But of course it's not designed for this basically..

Those are some terrible tolerances
So it spins round under the power of an electric motor with a horrible sound. Not actually working! However having built gas turbines all my life the build quality of the model looks quite good
Cool, but I think the fan is rotating the wrong way. The fan should be running clockwise forward looking aft, or looking from the front of the engine.
