I just received this exact watch. I absolutely love it it's amazing! I've had the light blue face one as well for about 3 weeks I love that one as well. I highly recommend anybody to order both of them.
@@kurtiss3227 Totally agree. I've fallen in love with the blue face as the hour markers glimmer like diamonds in the sunlight. Photos don't do this justice.
I really dislike the negative displays on these watches. I have a couple of CasiOaks and I only buy the ones with positive displays as the negatives are so difficult to read...

Same as the new rainbow brick version. Comes in silver everywhere other than UK where you can get the square and CasiOak in black. Mine is incoming video soon.

I got the Tiff Blue version, since I got too many Blacks. Prefer the positive display as it is much easier to see. Just have to wait till my bro brings it fr JP .. Finally, it comes with the most important upgrade - Tough Solar
I would guess that the buttons are stainless because if they were painted eventually the colour would wear off and it would make the watch look tatty. With plastic it is easier as the plastic is the same colour throughout so the colour will never wear off.
Hi and thanks for your comment and watching my content. I have many Casio watches with this type of ion plating and have no issues regarding the paint coming off. Yes it may be prone to scratching but the quality we get from Casio these days is seriously high workmanship. They have perfected this application.

As they would be touched potentially regularly by your fingers every few days for years on end maybe Casio thought that the sub micron thick coating/surface treatment may wear off which might look a bit tatty. Just a theory.
@ianmaw66 maybe but I have many Edifice watches with different colored button and have no wear. The coating is very robust. Also a lot of the metal squares have colored buttons. The buckle should have been the same color as the case but I guess I'm nitpicking now lol. Thanks for the discussion love that.
