- Having recently procured a GoPro, I put it to excellent use in this performance of Little Shop Of Horrors. This is 'Suddenly Seymour' from Act 2; the moment when Seymour gets his act together and tells Audrey how he feels - my personal musical highlight of the show.

LSoH is my favourite stage show ever. That means nothing nothing I know. But this dude, he literally my favourite version. Still means nothing I know. But he is.
God I love our job, and I love this show. I MD’d and keys‘ d it a few years ago. Might invest in a GoPro and take some pitcam vids at some point too. We have the best job in the world :)
I played K1 in the pit for this show last year as well. I don't post anything from shows because of licensing restrictions, but they're some of the best gigs I ever play. I noticed you getting excited by K2's organ licks in the third verse... I also really wished I could have played those licks during the show.
Very, very nice! You're really playing the way this is supposed to be played. Quick question - at the very end of this song - on "maaaaaaaaaan," why did this production skip the two measures of A, two measures of B/A, two measures of Bdim/A, and ending back on A? It was really awesome up to the rushed ending.
You'd have to ask the MD - I was just following orders on this show!

This is such a great look behind the scenes. I’m curious to know if your score is written out note-for-note or if you’re allowed some leeway. There are some great voicings here that aren’t in the standard sheet music. Also are you all listening to a click track? Great chops!

What keyboard do you use, and do you use MainStage or the default voices in the keyboard?

That's my trusty Roland RD-700GX which has (in my opinion) the best feel of any keyboard in that price range.
And here I've used the piano sound direct from the RD700 as this was a keys 1 production with mostly piano/EP - other shows I've done (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels/Whistle Down The Wind) I've been on Key 2 books which require A LOT of changes, so I automated them in MainStage.
