That animation style is called rubber hose. It was in used in the early days so animators wouldn't have to worry about joints or anything like that.
I thought the show was good I can't wait for season 2, I hope we get to see more warriors from different timeline's!
Edred's the warrior elf, I want to see if there'll be other elves in the series as it goes on.
We will have an episode taking place in Edred's native home. So yes we will see more elves.

Yes, he is.
He’s literally the LAST Good Animator/Story Director of the Cartoon Golden Age whose still primarily active in animation industry.
Without him, I fear that animation as a whole will probably take a dark and gross turn. Not looking forward to it by the way.
Thankfully Genndy seems to be here to stay with us just a little longer. So I have hope.

I know there is the "entitled to your opinion" thing, but it was not a good "review" tbh. Also, I question how Alteori's husband thought it was for little kids.

I personally think this show is terrible.
The concept was interesting, but the execution was beyond awful.
Not to mention, it’s stuffed to the gills with logical inconsistencies.
Like, if elves can live for tens of thousands of years, and wizards can live for thousands of years, then why would Edred and Malinda even need to do the whole parasitic reincarnation shtick?
The only character that the whole “reincarnating to fight evil” thing makes sense for is Seng, and he’s a sudo-Buda, so he shouldn’t need a weird robot to do that. In fact, I think one of the big problems with the show is the focus on Emma as a quasi-protagonist, that role SHOULD have been filled by Seng. Have him reincarnate from life to life, and every time he does, Edred and Malinda show up with some sort of device to jog the memories from his past lives.
The time traveling aspect was also completely unnecessary, and feels forced.
And my goodness, the tone is ALL OVER THE PLACE! It’s like the show doesn’t know what it wants to be.
