Well, Dummy didn't really contribute to the story of Undertale as a whole. And to me Dummy wouldn't really fit in. But Scott did awesome as Mad Dummy. The musical was still good without Dummy, Temmie, and others. Alex wanted songs and characters that are relevant and contribute to the plot of Undertale.

God I just LOVE Berentrücking! It’s so amazing how asgore slowly gets more sad and filled with grief as he progresses, regretting his past actions, and how he cries, asking himself what he has done, but he is forced to do it, as he has to save his kingdom, as everyone is filled with hope, except for him. It’s so incredible!

The overture holds such a special place in my heart. I know everybody adores Mettaton's voice, and I do too. But when I first clicked on this video, I restarted it at least 7 times just to listen to the overture over and over again. So it's incredibly nostalgic to hear the overture every time I revisit this gem of a musical. Thank you for starting off this masterpiece with something that perfectly incapsulates every character and truley prepares you for what you are about to experience. Lots of love

Already listened to the full musical years ago when it first came out, but it still hits so damn hard even now as an adult. Just absolutely had to mention how much Toriel's motif of "Even when we're worlds apart, stay in my heart" gets me in my feels. The way Lindsay Bolin sings that note just feels filled with nothing but pure love and warmth, like a hug from a beloved relative.

Chara killed Sans, Asgore and Flowey, sure, but everything else was the player's fault, including Chara's behavior.

It’ll be 2024 in a couple days (as of writing this it’s 29th Dec 2023) and this entire musical still slaps, even after 6 and half years. the singing is gorgeous, the art is beautiful, the story and pacing is amazing, and just the sheer amount of effort that was clearly put into this project is so incredibly inspiring and motivating. all the little quirks of each character being displayed during this musical is amazing as well, and you have to admire how well each of the voice actors did in both the singing and the talking parts. i could go on and on but then my hands would start aching from all the typing.

Omg! I just realized that at 3:38:36 when Papyrus says: “Tiny Flower” Toriel’s face- she suddenly realizes that she’s seen a Tiny, annoying flower: flowey.
The amount of times I’ve watched this is uncountable, and I have not once gotten tired of it. I have imagined this as a play, movie, real adventure, all sorts of stuff. I have memorized the songs, and the voices. I love this too much. My whole Undertale phase was because of this. Sans’s voice stands out, as not just being deep, but having character. Papyrus is adorable, and not just high pitched an annoying, but charismatic. Undyne is fearsome, while also being like the cool headstrong friend. Alpha’s just, fits. They all do, but Alphys fits differently. That’s how good it is. Toriel is a mother through and through, and I love how Agore switchers inbetween a humble man, to the fate of the world warrior. Mettaton is so god damn charismatic, with that suave voice, and Flowey has that dastardly evil voice, with a child’s hint in there. Mettaton, Asgore, and Flowey were my 3 faves, and I jut got to say, it enhances so many game scenes, like Undertale, and the final fight, along with Undyne. Thank you so god damn much for the meat Undertale fan progeny of all time.

I just got the True Pacifist ending yesterday and GOSH “Hopes and Dreams” made me cry even more than I did while playing 😭🙏 The collaboration, the time, the effort, the TALENT is all just purely beautiful. The characters have the most fitting voices, namely Mettaton, Asriel, Flowey, Toriel and Papyrus. But I loved them all, seriously!! 💗

Alphys is the scientist who made a robot with a soul who acts like they are ALIVE, and accomplished so much other things, and even she is saying you can do what she said it’s impossible. And it’s true. Flowey has the power of many souls and determination, and he’s close to becoming an omnipotent being. And frisk is just a kid. Yet Alphys and everyone else are saying Frisk can actually beat Flowey. Single handedly. Without murder.

Papyrus’s enthusiasm makes me so happy omg. At first I wasn’t sure when I heard Sans’s voice, but when he started singing I realised that he is perfect for the role! Mettaton is my favourite sexy rectangle. ‘It’s Raining Somewhere’ gave me literal chills. Sans and Toriel is SUCH a good combo. Undyne omggg I love her VA. She fits the role so well! Her songs are some of my favourite! Undertale is my special interest lol if you couldn’t tell

k I’m gonna just write a huge review of this musical because it’ all I can think about so here we go. I’ve also watched this like 47 times so I might as well document my feelings on it. I’ll update as I go. Note this will be VERY long. 1) RUINS. -The beginning is so great! I love how it introduces each of the characters with song and little animation. It’s so good! Not much else needed to say about that except I love it lmao. -Once Upon a Time is amazing, and I’m saying this as someone who typically gets really bored in intros and tends to skip them, but this time my eyes were glued to the screen! This also introduces the high quality of lyrics and art throughout the whole musical. The artists who worked on this are genuinely so skilled. I may bring this up again in certain points the quality was especially good, but know that I really, really enjoyed the art throughout the entire four hours! -Flowey! His voice is literally perfect. The emphasis on certain words, the voice he puts on, it’s just so great. The transition from friendly to murderous is just so good omg it scratches something in my brain and idk it’s just so good. I also love how there’s little transitions to show that it’s not just a pile of songs, but an actual musical. -Toriel! I’m usually not a massive Toriel fan, though I do appreciate her role in the game, the VA is so talented??? Like damn that singing is so good. Also the lyrics in ‘Fallen Down are actually really good and fit her character well. -Ruins (song). All of the monsters singing together is so cool! I enjoyed this song a lot! And Asgore joining in too, and then that unison part is just peak music. -Napstablook. Toriel’s tu-Toriel joke made me laugh purely because how happy she sounded she’s so sweet. Napstablook’s song was pretty cool! The effect put on their voice fits really well, as do the lyrics. I tend to forget about the poor guy a lot :( but yeah a decent song overall. Love the vibe lmao. Is it bad I find most of the lyrics relatable? -Home. I love the start is just Toriel’ talking sprite lol. Cute song, cute lyrics! I personally prefer more fast-paced songs but I did enjoy this a whole bunch. Toriel’s VA, once again, absolutely smashed the singing. Her singing voice is actually really pretty. You can really hear the emotion behind it and everything she said. -Heartache(I think. Whatever sing plays when you fight Toriel). DAMN this was good. I know I keep saying this but her VA omg just something about her singing voice brings me so much joy. The sudden burst of this much emotion and power when all of her previous songs have been soft and nice was a great change and done really well. -Fallen Down. Back to the soft and nice songs but now sadness lol. Not much to say about this. The ‘I love you, and I’ll miss you, my child’ hit hard. -Flowey (again). I love him. I’m joining the Flowey fan club. “I wonder what will you do, meeting one as bold as you’ is just sung in such a way that scratches my brain so satisfyingly. And we can’t forget the McDonald’s commercial “That’s a Wonderful Idea!”. I love Flowey so much in this musical. I never had this much attachment to him in the game, but this VA portrays him practically perfectly. 2) SNOWDIN. I’ll end here for today, as I’m only 40 minutes in but I’ve written so much lol. The overture holds such a special place in my heart. I know everybody adores Mettaton's voice, and I do too. But when I first clicked on this video, I restarted it at least 7 times just to listen to the overture over and over again. So it's incredibly nostalgic to hear the overture every time I revisit this gem of a musical. Thank you for starting off this masterpiece with something that perfectly incapsulates every character and truley prepares you for what you are about to experience.

Once upon a time... i've been listening to this video for almost 3 months and haven't gotten the chance to finish it at least once. Today, I got the chance to finish it, and OH GOD THE CHILLS! I've never played Undertale in my life, but I feel like I already know the characters and I fought the fights myself because of how well made the songs and artworks are. I'm now finally entirely done with this video after such a long time.

Agreed, it has a far bigger impact when you've just spent the past 4 hours watching this.
Already listened to the full musical years ago when it first came out, but it still hits so damn hard even now as an adult. Just absolutely had to mention how much Toriel's motif of "Even when we're worlds apart, stay in my heart" gets me in my feels. The way Lindsay Bolin sings that note just feels filled with nothing but pure love and warmth, like a hug from a beloved relative.

It’ll be 2024 in a couple days (as of writing this it’s 29th Dec 2023) and this entire musical still slaps, even after 6 and half years.
the singing is gorgeous, the art is beautiful, the story and pacing is amazing, and just the sheer amount of effort that was clearly put into this project is so incredibly inspiring and motivating.
all the little quirks of each character being displayed during this musical is amazing as well, and you have to admire how well each of the voice actors did in both the singing and the talking parts.
i could go on and on but then my hands would start aching from all the typing.
I've watched this so many times that i can recite all 4 hours word for word and can only hear these lyrics when playing the game

The amount of times I’ve watched this is uncountable, and I have not once gotten tired of it. I have imagined this as a play, movie, real adventure, all sorts of stuff. I have memorized the songs, and the voices. I love this too much. My whole Undertale phase was because of this. Sans’s voice stands out, as not just being deep, but having character. Papyrus is adorable, and not just high pitched an annoying, but charismatic. Undyne is fearsome, while also being like the cool headstrong friend. Alpha’s just, fits. They all do, but Alphys fits differently. That’s how good it is. Toriel is a mother through and through, and I love how Agore switchers inbetween a humble man, to the fate of the world warrior. Mettaton is so god damn charismatic, with that suave voice, and Flowey has that dastardly evil voice, with a child’s hint in there. Mettaton, Asgore, and Flowey were my 3 faves, and I jut got to say, it enhances so many game scenes, like Undertale, and the final fight, along with Undyne. Thank you so god damn much for the meat Undertale fan progeny of all time.

k I’m gonna just write a huge review of this musical because it’ all I can think about so here we go. I’ve also watched this like 47 times so I might as well document my feelings on it. I’ll update as I go. Note this will be VERY long.
1) RUINS.
-The beginning is so great! I love how it introduces each of the characters with song and little animation. It’s so good! Not much else needed to say about that except I love it lmao.
-Once Upon a Time is amazing, and I’m saying this as someone who typically gets really bored in intros and tends to skip them, but this time my eyes were glued to the screen! This also introduces the high quality of lyrics and art throughout the whole musical. The artists who worked on this are genuinely so skilled. I may bring this up again in certain points the quality was especially good, but know that I really, really enjoyed the art throughout the entire four hours!
-Flowey! His voice is literally perfect. The emphasis on certain words, the voice he puts on, it’s just so great. The transition from friendly to murderous is just so good omg it scratches something in my brain and idk it’s just so good. I also love how there’s little transitions to show that it’s not just a pile of songs, but an actual musical.
-Toriel! I’m usually not a massive Toriel fan, though I do appreciate her role in the game, the VA is so talented??? Like damn that singing is so good. Also the lyrics in ‘Fallen Down are actually really good and fit her character well.
-Ruins (song). All of the monsters singing together is so cool! I enjoyed this song a lot! And Asgore joining in too, and then that unison part is just peak music.
-Napstablook. Toriel’s tu-Toriel joke made me laugh purely because how happy she sounded she’s so sweet. Napstablook’s song was pretty cool! The effect put on their voice fits really well, as do the lyrics. I tend to forget about the poor guy a lot :( but yeah a decent song overall. Love the vibe lmao. Is it bad I find most of the lyrics relatable?
-Home. I love the start is just Toriel’ talking sprite lol. Cute song, cute lyrics! I personally prefer more fast-paced songs but I did enjoy this a whole bunch. Toriel’s VA, once again, absolutely smashed the singing. Her singing voice is actually really pretty. You can really hear the emotion behind it and everything she said.
-Heartache(I think. Whatever sing plays when you fight Toriel). DAMN this was good. I know I keep saying this but her VA omg just something about her singing voice brings me so much joy. The sudden burst of this much emotion and power when all of her previous songs have been soft and nice was a great change and done really well.
-Fallen Down. Back to the soft and nice songs but now sadness lol. Not much to say about this. The ‘I love you, and I’ll miss you, my child’ hit hard.
-Flowey (again). I love him. I’m joining the Flowey fan club. “I wonder what will you do, meeting one as bold as you’ is just sung in such a way that scratches my brain so satisfyingly. And we can’t forget the McDonald’s commercial “That’s a Wonderful Idea!”. I love Flowey so much in this musical. I never had this much attachment to him in the game, but this VA portrays him practically perfectly.
2) SNOWDIN.
I’ll end here for today, as I’m only 40 minutes in but I’ve written so much lol. And also it’s 4am :p
I will be back to review Snowdin next :D (probably my favourite section of the musical. The skeletons omg

6 years late and I missed! Toriel saying please be good reminds me of what my mom would tell me before I went to school every morning. “Be good, be safe, and remember who you are”. I always blew it off but now realizing I didn’t listen, how different my life could’ve been had I listened to her.
