The brothers Robinson have truly been on a journey together. I'm just thankful to see them on the same stage again. For a while I didn't think we'd get to see that.

I've seen the Black Crowes more times than I can remember over the years. They played my hometown in 1990 and absolutely stole the show. Chris' voice has matured and grown so much over the years.

Saw them on tour in a very small ballroom with a couple hundred of people when this came out. It was FANTASTIC. Packed. Funny smoke in the air. Almost everyone on their feet dancing. I had a side booth and still had to stand for parts to dance. For as much as I LOVE watching live performances, you should also watch their official original release video... gives you a complete vibe of how Chris, especially in his younger years, was non stop ball of energy dancing to every single damn note. A very completely odd aside - First time I heard him was his covering Otis's Hard to Handle... was at univ, 3rd level dorm communal area watching TV... the US had just gone into Kuwait to fight off the Iraqi invasion and was at war (commonly called the Gulf War) and my roommate and I were stupid and young and freaking out because we didn't know if we should drop out and join the military because we were up against the 4th largest army in the world and w all the hyperbole we thought "better to choose our branch and position now than be called to service randomly".. ... ... sooooo.... yeah.

I seen them open for Tom Petty and he was so messed up of something you couldn't understand a word he was singing. Wasn't sure if it was a day day but the bands recorded music is great not sure about them live.
