Thanks for your comment Luis. This video shows the use of the ProMax with the standard chin rest and bitestick. The portion of the video where you notice the chin cup is the chin positioning device used for edentulous patients or cases where the bitestick cannot be used.

The bite sticks are to be disinfected between each patient with an approved cleaning disinfectant or wipe by the user manual instructions to eliminate cross contamination. Planmeca does not sell barriers for this, but there are some third party bite stick barriers that some dentists may choose to utilize as an added layer of protection.
where does it show the dose area product for each exposure?

Is there supposed to be plastic on the bite sticks? I went to the dentist and and they didn’t have plastic on it

I would prefer the layer of protection than to place my mouth on disinfectant or trusting that it was cleaned properly. Is the bite stick removable?
