- Gary demonstrates how easy it is to use the My Design Snap App and turn a drawing into embroidery. It's incredible how you can transform a lovely illustration into embroidery to put on a garment, pillow, wall hanging and more and give as a gift or to keep for yourself.
Amazing! I'm not a huge fan of embroidery, but an application like this opens so many opportunities. Unfortunately, I could never justify the cost of a machine like this for myself. But how fun for everyone who does have it!!

Brilliant, I have just spent two hours trying to follow the brochure, despite having stitched something out I designed yesterday. You have made it look so simple I shall now wait until tomorrow to have another go with detailed and simplistic instructions. Thank you so much as always.

Can this turn any images into stitches
@JohnSmithNE3478 It can convert simple drawings and line drawings easily into embroidery designs. Great to create quick embroideries from simple designs.
What model is your brother machine? I am just discovering this world. Love your information and video. Would love to learn more

How so you convert an already colored drawing/picture? I tried and get this gray blurish thing..what am I doing wrong?
Brenda do you have the Stellaire? And are you stopping the video and doing exactly what Gary does? Maybe try doing that and see if that is successful.

Sorry Linda, this app is only supported by machines with WIFI connectivity - in Australia this is the Stellaire and Luminaire models.
Hi there , my name is collette i was wondering if you could help me and point me in the right direction, ..i have the brother stellaire xp1 ... and i am trying to convert a clipart image that has been turned into a logo , turn it into embroidery, this logo also has text on too ... what i am struggling with if you inagen a circlire , with a pair of dumbells inside .. i dont know if i am doing something wrong but when filling the circle in black , the machine is a) missing stitches therfore showing the white felt through the black stitches i am trying to stitch ,and b) i am using white bobbin thread the machine is picking up the white thread through the stitches ... is there a way i can play around with the thickness of the black thread so it fills the image more ?
I am using the paint filler to fill in the image more and the screen showing its filled too but when stitching its not ...i am just wondering is there anything i can adjust the thickness of my stitches when filling the circle with paint ...

Hi Collette, when you go from the opening my design centre screen and select next to get on the next screen. Then select the 100% which is your density. You can alter it but do keep in mind you may need to also adjust the pull as well on the same screen. If in doubt and you are in Australia, please call us on 1800 000 360 :)

For you to convert the drawing you need to own the XE1 or the XJ1 to be able to use the My Design Snap App.

Hi Claude. Yes you can if you have the hoops with the labels. Otherwise you would scan the image in or use a jpeg image.

Found your videos and love them! I just bought my Stellaire 2 days ago. I tried doing a childs stick drawing and tried doing a background stipple. Because I put a stamp around it, it actually took away the details in the faces? Also, can you show your princess quilt? I could see a bit in the background of one of your videos. I would love to know where the frame is from around the princess. Thanks for the videos.
Hi Denise, when you converted the drawing did you touch up the face in the My Design Centre? Sometimes the digitizing does need minor adjusting. If you would like a picture of the princess quilt we can email it to you if you provide your details to us :)

Does it work on the DreamCreator XE Innovis VM5100
@vivienhooper6523 The My Design Snap App is used with machines which have the My Design Center ability. Unfortunately, the VM5100 does not have it.

When I scan my clip art design to the machine and rotated it, It has a ghost of the design behind it. What can I do? I'm new to the Stellaire. Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Hi Cindy - to remove the background image you will press the "Fern" on the left hand side at the top of the image? If this doesn't make sens you can call us on 1800 000 360 so we can walk you through it?

Hello! This will work with any machine that has Brother My Design Centre - for example Dream Machine, Luminaire, PR1055, PR1050, Stellaire!
How would you save this to sew out again? USB stick?
How would I design an end to end single stitch quilt design and fit it into a specific area?

Hi Susan thanks for the question! You could save the design to the USB or the machine, the choice is yours. You would need software to design an end to end quilt design, we use Hatch and Embrilliance. Good Afternoon, Can I use the My Design App on the Novid-180D?
Hi Denise, the My Design App is only usable on the Stellaire. It utilises special hoops that come with the machine.
What stylus are you using please, I am having trouble with the mouse and cannot use the original stylus which came with the luminaire far too thick.
Also how do I just sew a light outline around instead of thick embroidery, which covers up some of my colours.

Hi its been 3 days i have been trying to do a logo for a friend it doesn't come out right i thought it would be really easy to Embroidery on the latest xj1 machine but am feeling its very difficult please give me ideas how to get professional machine Embroidery please HELP
Hi Ferhat, we would recommend a digitising company to help you as sometimes logos do need to be professionally done.
