Is this tape water soluble.. thanks
Would it help with hoop burn?
@dianneleslight4970 No this won't stop hoop burn, for fabric that is sensitive to hoop burn we recommend floating the fabric.
@@EchidnaClub ok thank you for that. I thought using it around the edge may cushion it a bit
Thank you Gary for a great tip.
@carolinekalokerinos9352 Thanks for watching and your lovely feedback :)
Is that something found in craft stores near me?
@abr6480 We do sell the Oil in bottles which can be shipped to you if in Australia. It is a food grade Silicon Oil.
i have the essence ve2300 and get the message this embroidery frame cannot be used when i try to use the magnetic frame. is there something else i need to do?
@SonyaPippen You will need to check the software on the machine is up to date. Check on the Brother support page or here is a link for you: www.echidnasewing.com.au/page/support/brother-machine-updates/ This will correct the issue.
Where can I find them?
@abr6480 They are available on our website or you need to source them from a Brother dealer. Just check it is able to be used on your machine.
Can it work on a se600 michene?
@abr6480 Unfortunately the age and the size frame your machine can use means this hoop is not able to be used on the SE600
Great demo, thanks heaps!
@joyann6792 Glad you liked it! Thank you for watching!
Thank u very much but the foot is broken were to buy the new one
@MagdelenaChauke You should be able to purchase a new embroidery foot from a Brother dealer. Which machine do you have and we may have it on our website?
With the brother magnetic hoop are you able to use the camera for positioning? (XV8550D)
@sarahsgift1 Yes you are able to use your camera for postioning. :)

@@EchidnaClub thank you very much

How to do frill stiching is pudding in this JA1400 machine?. If yes, please explain briefly
@jeevankl735 Here is a brief explaination for you: Sew two rows of basting stitches across the top of the strip, about ¼” apart. (Note: We recommend sewing two rows so you'll have a backup if one of the threads break!) Keep your bobbin thread long. Pull the bobbin threads to ruffle the fabric, making the ruffles as tight or as loose as you want them. There is also the gathering foot available as well: www.echidnasewing.com.au/generic-brand-to-suit-sa120-f012-gathering-foot-su There is a video on the listing on how to use the foot.
Is this same as NV180 combination machine?
@rajjo007 Yes this is a similar model, the M370 and M380D are the replacement models with the new features such as WIFI connectivity.
Kindly make a video on how to quilt on a Brother M370 Machine.
@user-rf3dt2ew6t What type of quilting are you doing on your machine? Are you enquiring about quilting in the hoop or sewing quilting? The process of quilting is a similar process across most sewing machines. Here is a playlist of video links to help you: czcams.com/video/4geE-eiDkrg/video.html
@EchidnaClub edge-to-edge quilting····
@user-rf3dt2ew6t Edge to edge quilting with the embroidery is done by gridding your quilt, you would then use your template plastic for your hoop to help line up your design. You can turn on the grid in the settings on the machine to help line everything up.
I have a Brother XL 2230.....there is no switch on the back of this machine. Help plz. How do I raise the feed dogs in this machine?
@debbierankins2540 Your machine uses a Darning Plate instead of dropping the feed dogs. If you look in your manual it will give you the code for the part you need. It did come with your machine so also check your accessories.
OK ! that was fantastic the best explanation and tutorial i have everrrrr watched .. Im so excited about this ..
@Longdogs72 Thank you for watching and your great feedback! Happy stitching!
You keep pushing buttons but not explain anything…. Annoying music instead!
@luciemywallace9558 Thank you for your feedback and can understand your comment. Let us know if we help in any way.
Hi! Did I have to purchase PE software for this machine?
@yatiem7139 It does not need software to operate. Software is an added extra when you want to resize, combine designs etc. It uses .PES files and to see these designs (as a picture) you will need a computer program to enable you to do this. There are options available and we would recommend talking to us over the phone to explain what will assist you.
Do you have these machines in your capalaba shop to try out?
@Bundydream Yes we do have these machines in our store - we do not have this model on the floor though. The newer model is and is comparable with the PQ1500SL and you can come try them out.
Omg thank you so much I tried for so long to figure out the bobbin threading thank you

Thank you for actually reviewing the product and talking about it!! You are the only one I can find!
@hollyeward Thank you for watching and your feedback! :)
Super helpful if you know what a bobbin does lol. Thank you, ive been trying to find a video as clear cut as this one.
@ymkn550 Glad you enjoyed our video :) Thank you for watching.
The bottom blue string gets wider or thinner as you turn the number wheel.
@ymkn550 It is the angle of the fabric and the camera that does make it look that way.
The camera man is terrible! He should pause video or something get a close up shot when you are showing very specific details. Most of the videos are like this. The guy explains why good but we need to see the actual thing your doing and when you show what the part is your talking about he should be zoomed in at least.
@pauladavis4234 Thank you for your feedback - was there any particular area that you found that wasn't clear that we can assist with?
Well thank you for that. Talk about just in time: Top of today’s to-do-list is changing all the needles on my monster machine. Brilliant explanation and now I’m half so scared to do it.
@bytracey5.078 You can do it! If you have any further questions let us know and we are happy to help.

Feed teaths are moving backward not forward how to adjust that
@brikhnashanhzad5132 You will need to take your machine to a technician to help fix the issue.
Hello, thank you for your tutorial. Absolutely the best info! Really appreciate it. 😍
@orinnoco2919 Thank you for watching and the great feedback!
Hy awant to know to put the preser foot on tha machine
@NongezeleloMbali It snaps onto the foot holder. You will need to line up the bar with the foot holder, lower the foot holder with the lever and it should snap on. If it does not immediately snap on, press the button on the back to the foot holder.
Always a pleasure to watch Gary's video... Such a pity you aren't in Italy :(

@Nachi_official That it great to hear! Thank you for your feedback!
Will this maschine embroider on thick towels up to 700 gsm.
@anderslarsen8546 We do not recommend embroidering on super thick towels as the embroidery becomes distorted and will not stitch properly. If you were to stitch onto thick towels, it would be recommended to stitch a knockdown stitch first to be under the design to reduce pile and thickness.
Can you clarify, the "F" frame came with the magnetic hoop, or it came with the machine?
@katherine5587 The "F" Arm is available in a kit with the Magnetic Frame - either the 4" x 4" or the 5" x 7": www.echidnasewing.com.au/pr-magnetic-frame-4-x4-m-clamp-kit www.echidnasewing.com.au/pr-magnetic-frame-5-x7-l-clamp-kit

Straight to the point, easy to understand, touched on all the important points, especially for a first time user of this particular machine. Explanations were not too fast or too slow - clear and concise I really enjoyed watching it and highly recommend it.

@maritabreivogel2493 Hope you enjoy your new machine!
how loud is this machine?
@parang889 As it is an overlocker it is a little bit loud but this is a bit hard to quantify through messages. It is a great machine though and stitches well!
Loved your video. I have this serger and love it. Your video was a nice refresher even though I have had mine a few years. I was looking for a video on the piping foot for this serger. I do a good amount of home decorating projects and believe it would save me time. I have been applying piping with my sewing machine then serge seams. Would piping foot allow me to do in one step? I typically use 5/32 piping.👏🏻👍🏻
