    I think he might be one shows longest serving actors

      He is. In fact he's in the UK Edition of The Guinness Book Of World Records as the Longest Running Soap Character in UK TV History. In America it was Helen Wagner who from 1956-2010 played Nancy Hughes McCloskey on As The World Turns. Her Former TV Son Don Hastings who also debuted in 1960 still as far as I know still holds the Record for being The Longest Running Male Soap Actor as Dr. Bob Hughes. If they were British Helen would have been made a Dame and maybe Don could have been made A Sir.

    Poor Deidre...she was really suffering with her voice in these episodes

    This was the most devastating return of a Character. Poor Fellow, he had to go away to work to take care of his Family and he has to deal with this.

    Ken Was Back Since 1960

    • @laminage
      @laminage Před 5 lety +2

      Yes, he is now the Longest Running Soap Actor in the History of TV. The only other person who played a character as long as him was Don Hastings who played Dr. Bob Hughes on The US Soap Opera As The World Turns (1960-2010). While William got an MBE (Member Of The British Empire), Don got an Honorary Emmy (The US's Highest Television Honor). Peter and Carla shouldn't get back together at all. They are damaged souls and when the Law finds out that Peter bribed Gary Barlow with Money to keep quiet, all h@ll is going to break loose.

    Deirdre really shouldn't have run in a long skirt, even if she HAD just seen Ken!

    Carla shouldn't have said anything at The Rovers, you know how it is when people hear The "Hot Tea" as so said in The African American LGBT Community.

    Didn't he get accused of paedophilia a few years back before this episode aired?

    • @laminage
      @laminage Před 6 lety +4

      Yes, but the Girl apparently lied. As for Bruno Langley he did an offensive act and got fired and Michael LeVell (Kevin Webster) has problems and he may get fired. Also Luke Tittensor (Ex-Daz) and Ben Freeman (Ex-Scott Windsor) got fired from Emmerdale for their actions.

      Paedophilia has been a issue that Alison Arngrim (Nellie Oleson Little House On The Prairie) has been dealt with for years helping to make it known in Hollywood. She talked about it on The Oprah Network. Jackie Collins wrote about it in Hollywood Wives (1983) where Buddy Hudson as a teenager went to A Party In the middle of a Week when playing hooky from school. He and his Best Friend Tony go, have a blast, eat delicious food, non alcoholic drinks and is given a white powder known as Cocaine in the 1970's. Buddy finds out that Tony was the victim of a Rape, and a Murder. Then a lot of Boy Band Impressarios were accused of abusing their Proteges. Lou Pearlman (Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, O-Town), Chris Stokes (B2K) and Edgardo Diaz (Menudo) that Ricky Martin got his start in back in the 1980's. Aaron Carter was so traumatized by what this "Man" may have done he couldn't openly talk about, Ikika Koahono quit O-Town because Lou Pearlman wanted him to be his "Boy."

      The guy who played Len Fairclough got accused of the same and that one was quite muddy.

      He was working in Canada. It was easier to work there becuase as you know Canada is under British Law. Over the years Canada has been mentioned. Gail's Half Brother lives there Nick Tilsley #2 played by Adam Rickitt and Maria Sutherland lived there as well back in the day.
