  • Housing in the Netherlands is a sensitive topic that causes mixed feelings among students...
International Students Rotterdam asked people on Erasmus University Campus about their housing experiences. More specifically, we asked where the students were able to find their rooms, where the rooms are located, how much they cost, and many others.
It seems students spend around €600 per month (on average) for their rooms. The majority of the interviewees were lucky to get rooms closer to the university campus and in the student area called Kralingen. The participants used various methods in their search.
The most important piece of pieces of advice from us is to start looking early; make sure to use your network during the search; lower your standards and be creative.

Why do they take students in exchange when no arrangement for stay is made by the institute. They must make a list of people and areas and rates and availability and keep updating daily. It seems horrible behavior that taking money ..fees..admissions..not giving stay facility easily available. It is against humanity.
