I absolutely love having the opportunity to bring you all along for the ride of my life, to have the chance to teach anyone who might have the want for this knowledge and I love being a part of this community - thank you all for being a part of this story and journey.
And we all LOVE the journey with you. Something very calming about all of it also. Lifts the spirit to see GOOD in the world. Keep up the great work!
@Sarah Grant why are u here watching if u don't like it? I never understood why people leave these types of comments. It's not your channel, he owes u nothing. If u don't like the content, go someplace else. I'm sure there's plenty of trimming channels.
@@stang10189 … it sounds harsh but I removed her comment - I love making videos and don’t understand why people comment so negatively
You've given me and so many thousands of people the opportunity to see how a true expert practices his craft.
It's an unbelievable opportunity, thank YOU for telling the cow's stories and your story.
Scotland seems to be such a magical, beautiful place you've shown us in the wonderful scenery photography. It's truly breathtaking.
The Hoof GP is the total package, it's perfectly done.
Thank you again for this window into what you do.
And we absolutely love you Mr HGP.
I thank the CZcams algorithm for showing me your channel years ago, it’s educational, relaxing and absolutely hilarious at times.
More than anything, it’s evident how much you care for the cows in your crush and how much pride you take in your work.
You sir, are a fantastic role model. Thank you.
As someone with chronic arthritis and a few other genetic issues with my feet, my heart goes out to the cows, and my thanks to you for helping them walk pain free!
Look on the bright side, at least you have feet 👍
@@MrMonkey2150 Yes. Because bones on bones rubbing against each other combined with nerve damage is just a walk in the park.
@D R I have neuropathy in my feet due to spine issues. Mostly at night, yesterday I though I would need an ECV it was so bad. I wish you and I and the rest of the human foot pain sufferers had a Hoof GP to fix us. ❤
I love seeing the cows getting relief.
Well stated. As someone with both fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis, I definitely second this. I have an intimate knowledge of pain, and the people who spend their time helping reduce the pain of others (whether they are human or animal)? They have my complete respect and appreciation.
I have similar foot problems. Because of injury I wear big ole orthotics. If my feet are wrong it travels up to my feet and spine, they twist out of alignment. When Graham fixes a wildly out of whack cow hoof, she may take a few days but it’s a whole body improvement, I promise. Proper foot angles mean better knee and hip function.
🐄❤️so true! Good analogy as well…
My personal opinion on the music is that it's lovely. I wouldn't change a thing. It shows his creativity and his artistic side.
I prefer no music, but great video nonetheless
After over three and a half years of watching your videos Graham I’m pretty sure I’ve not missed one.
There have been other hoof trimmers come and go, but you’re still the best. Thank you.
I know absolutely nothing about this but find it fascinating and I am just a wee granny from Northern Ireland. Keep going, your explanations are very interesting and clear
Thank you for helping me get to sleep at night. I miss watching the farrier, brings me a lot of comfort
I am in Oklahoma USA and tomorrow is my Birthday, lets say Your Young enough to be my son. I don't have a son, just a daughter and 2 geandkiddos. I don't know what it is but it's relaxing watching you trim the cows, bulls and Buffaloes feet. I also enjoy seeing the landscape around your travels. My family on my mothers side is Scot/irish surname McGill.
The look in Their eyes just makes you love them … it just melts you
What you said about the toes digging in on soft ground and taking weight off the heels made things make so much more sense. We also get sore heels on hard floors, as we're supposed to walk on surfaces with a bit of give.
I love the way you explain everything you do in your trims 😊
Thank you Graham for helping these cows walk normal again, how is your dog stevie doing now ? 😊😊
Yes, please, let us know.
I’ve joined your channel and got my cow
Life is good
I always imagine, the cows are happy when the hoof job is done, and that makes me happy as well !!
It is amazing to see the process. My grandfather had a farm in Namibia where the land or "pasture" is sandy with scrub and grasses. He passed away in 1998 so I can't ask him how he looked after their feet.
Graham, I am always impressed with your savoir-faire! If I was a bull, you would be the only one allowed to trim me! 😉 Cheers! Marc, Quebec 🐂
Great job Graeme. She is certainly more comfortable now. A happy girl xxx 😊😊😊
nice music, but I like to hear the sounds when you trim the hoof!
Found you on FB. Find your videos interesting, informative, and a respite from the world. And you are doing something healthy for animals.
Oooh, i liked all the technical stuff you threw in this time. For some reason, "most" people don't, so I understand that I won't get what I like best most times because one has to appeal to the widest audience, but getting that little bit every so often is nice.
I am so glad!!!! that the farms have you to care for their animals footsies. You are a miracle worker!
Graeme, I just want to let you know I love watching your videos! They are in a way soothing to me. You're improving the hoofs of the cows, but also I love your music choices and - very importantly - your calm voice explaining. I've tried watching other hoof trimmers, and I don't like watching them. So thank you 🥰
Another fine video of your lifelong endeavor to project yourself into an animal's life to bring comfort and lessen pain. You have my heartfelt thanks for your work and I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos whenever they show up!! I sure wish you would include where your music background can be found - it's so, so wonderful.
She’s a beautiful girl and looking pretty happy. Will be happy happy to see you next time
I love how much you clearly care for the cows and that they aren't in pain. :)
So happy to see you wearing a mask to protect yourself from the bajillions of flyaway bits. Safety is sexy after all.
Hi from Maryland, USA, Graham. It's also been proven that cows who are exposed to classical music are happier and give more
milk. Your clients should consider playing the music you have on your videos for their cows! Debusy would also be good for them!
I may have commented this before, but my favorite part of the grinder is seeing you round off the pointy toes. So satisfying. I don't like fingernails filed to a point and I guess I don't like pointy cow feet, either!!
You are such a professional. Thank you for all your work. Farmer Susan
I absolutely love your videos. Your passion for these animals is contagious. Cheers from the U.S.A. 🇺🇸
The editing on your videos have become next level! One of the reasons I enjoy your videos.
Hello from MI, USA👋 Graeham, I have learned so much about hoof care by watching your channel ❣️ I never knew cows get hooves trimmed until I saw one of your videos. God has blessed you with an unique gift to pass on down to others through the age of time. 🥰
You always do a Beautiful Job.
She's Happy after a Huff Trim. She's Looking Good & knows it. 😊👍🇺🇲
So I live in Central California where we have many dairy farms and I stumbled onto your channel and have found it very interesting the work you do the care you take of the cows and the way you explain what your doing and too be honest sometimes it can be very emotional watching you do your thing helping the cow reduce the pain in their hoof thanks and keep up your great work..............
Your videos bring a sense of peace. Well done, mate.
Wow! You really can see the difference in the before and after pics. Great video, educational and very informative. Thank you. ❤
See nothing graphic, just a really nice trim and still an informative and engaging video. Cheers Graham
I love your channel and now, I also love your brother’s Scotland Unplugged. Thank you for letting us know about it! Thank you to you, Craig and Kevin and s you do. And ❤ to Ashley and the boys, Calgary…Canada.
Well said.
I'm from Red Deer, Alberta. The smoke from the fires is bad here. How are you doing?
@@westzed23 the smoke is 10+, my asthma hates it, good thing I’m off, staying inside. Have you noticed that the keep extending the warnings?
@@cwbrownCaroline Yeah, I'm inside with asthma too. The high pressure area is not moving out. Until it moves we stay the same.
It’s very relaxing watching you trim the cow’s feet. Thank you Graeme for sharing it with all of us.
You are a gentle guy bringing gentleness, to creatures who deserve it.
Thank you again Graeme. I look forward to every posting, especially when we get to see the girls faces.
Hi Graeme. I love your videos because they are very informative. I've been following you for quite a while. I remember donating to help you get a new crush. I love your choice in music and I really love listening to your voice. Your passion for your work and and all those lovely ladies is amazing. 😊😊😊😊
It's funny how we know so much about cow feet and how to make sure they avoid chronic conditions, yet many of us keep our feet in pretty unhealthy situations. I think the angle of the foot to ankle he mentions is pretty relevant to everyone.
One thing , amongst many, that I love ❤️ about Graeme, is that he genuinely LOVES and has compassion for ALL the cows and bulls he tends to..
I remember we had a cow with catastrophically overgrown hoofs when we bought her ... she didn't know how to walk after the trim ... it was like a cartoon villain trying to sneak
How is she doing now? Hope she's all better now.

Great compassion Graeme! Love it!
Love your videos, not just to watch and learn about hooves, but the soundtracks you use are calming.
Thank you for sharing this amazing art of caring for cows hooves.
Its quite the learning curve. 👍💕🇨🇦😎
Im glad you were able to intervene in time to stop any problems from happening.
I love the care and love you show these precious animals.
Always watching from Texas
And you do your job in an amazing way! Love your enthusiasm and love for your job and your cows!
Graeme i love the way you explained what you're doing and why! Keep up the great job!
I'm hoping for this cow, help hasn't come to late. Graeme is a fantastic hoof trimmer. Prayers for this cow and a few extra prayers for Graeme too.
Thanks for the info on the angle of the hoof to the ground. I’ve wondered how you know where they should land when the foot goes back to the ground! Once again, kudos to your knowledge and skill!
That graph was a perfect explanation. Thank you.
Have missed your videos. Glad to see you’re back
I am not even a farmer, and I watched this entirely. Educational and fun.
Thank you for all the knowledge you share with us. Even though I don’t have any cows it’s very interesting to watch & see how you fix all the problems you come across. When I was younger we had a Friesian cow & an Angus cow that gave birth to a Hereford bull calf, we also had 2 Jersey cows that gave birth to bull calf’s as well. I miss the day of living on a farm (horse stud) I have many memories to tell my children & grandchildren. Thank you so much for sharing your videos ♥️♥️♥️♥️
As much as I watch you trim the cows, I can’t understand how you know how to trim each one! It’s really amazing that you do such a great job . I truly believe you enjoy your work and isn’t that a great thing:-)
It’s so nice to see how much you love and care about your job and those animals.
Bro, this was so wholesome. You seem a good man, keep it up!
I feel like I can say this every time. Well done all involved in the making of your videos. From the content to the editing. Cheers to you all!!
Hoof GP, your narration skills are priceless. Thanks for another great video.
Thank goodness there are ppl like u out there to help them 😊
Working your magic as usual.
I love being a part of the herd! This was a very informative video. It’s so good to know that these cows get a better chance at a healthy good life; because you truly care. Thank you. for what you do!
Lovely to see that not every video is about sole ulcers or white line defects …… just a lovely recording promoting hoof trimming 👍
Graeme can you tell us more about the cows dew claw? What does it do, if anything? Have you ever seen a cow with any issues with their dew claw?
He has had cows with REALLY LONG dewclaws which had to be trimmed back. Check the archive; it was a few years ago. The dewclaws are vestigial toes; a cow's hoof is two giant toes and a horse's hoof is one giant toe.
@@BabalonNuit Yes, I have seen the overgrown dew claws being trimmed. I understand what they are and what a hoof is. I would like to know what they are for, if anything and if he has ever seen any cows with any issues (other than being overgrown) with the dew claws. Just really curious. I have been binge watching his videos but not much of a mention on the dew claws.
@@kimberlygarrish205 dew claws have no purpose because they're vestigial toes. Just like the appendex is a vestigial organ in humans.
@@DS9TREK Thank you. Now, the last thing I want to know about the dew claw is if Graeme has ever seen any issues, other than over grown, with the dew claw?
thanks for all explications in this video, always learning new things here (even if i know for a fact that it's a knowledge i'll never use somewhere else :D )
Love these video's. I love the ew one's, but watch the old ones everyday. Keep up the wonderfully entertainment
You're so awesome with making cows better n with such love
I really like how educational your videos are. Thank you for what you do for these cows
I mean, I'm never going to have an opportunity to use this knowledge, but it is very educational, and knowledge for knowledge's sake is something I can completely appreciate.
I so look forward to yours & your brothers videos!
Good job 👍👍👍Thank you for sharing. Be safe 🇨🇦
I noticed the cow slipping at the beginning and wonder of too much angle contributes to that. Looking at the diagram, it looks like there would be significant forward pressure as well as downward pressure when there is too much angle.
A great job well done in helping this cow x
It is our honour to be with you on the journey. ❤
Perhaps this has been commented already, but you have EXCELLENT music taste and I have added many songs from your videos to my Amazon subscription. Awesome channel, congrats on all your success, well deserved.
You are great at explaining healthy feet. GREAT JOB
Great video & great music!!! Thank you... 👍🏼
Well done again mate brilliant treatment
I throughly enjoy your videos!! I have learned alot. I also find the videos relaxing 😊
Thank you Graeme. Love you cow 🐄 757! Enjoy your summer.
Can't wait to watch I love your videos I've been watching since last year
This was an especially informative, satisfying video. I’m glad you helped her before major pain set in. We’ve seen what happens when hooves crack and ulcers and infections set in. I wish more farms used products like Easyfix for the well-being of their animals that have to be kept in an unnatural environment like on concrete. I recall some of their other solutions like flexible stall separators. If there is a link to a video describing these comfort/safety modifications, I’d like to watch it. I’d also like to know how the expense pays off financially, maybe from someone who has made an analysis. (I know that this is outside your area.)
In a different note, watching you whip on and off your face mask so fluidly reminded me of earlier days on this channel when we were always admonishing you to put one on. Lots of other changes since then too. You’ve come such a long way, accomplished so much, and showing no signs of stopping. You’ve had a world wide impact, a positive one. Who could have predicted such a thing? And it is still fun to watch you trim hooves and explain how and why.
Another fantastic video. I love to see blooper takes if you get any. Your laugh is awesome
Both myself and my wife love watching your videos and the music you use
Personally I love the music! What I don't understand is the 50 degree bit - guess that's cos I'm not a Hoof GP!
You's all just keep taking bestest care of the coo's, cos you do a fantastic job and when they come out of the crush, they walk much better! ❤ xx
Another contented cow! And look at you...wearing your shield! Well done X2!
Good afternoon from Fowlerville, Michigan, US
I can't even imagine how those hooves and legs hurt before the trim! Thank you for letting us in on making her feel better.
This is a good one - informative and compassionate as always!! I must admit I miss seeing the beautiful Scottish scenery as you drive to the farms you visit, but I still love your videos. You have fantastic taste in music!! Any chance of another playlist?
wonderful learning module!
You are doing a great job.... Thank you for the videos
I have beenwatching and waiting I think you work very hard you try and do all this for there care and comfort watching your farm and family grow with love and protection your family will benefit from your 😊experience
