In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fate, however, may have other plans, as Ladybug's latest mission puts him on a collision course with lethal adversaries from around the globe - all with connected, yet conflicting, objectives - on the world's fastest train...and he's got to figure out how to get off. From the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch, the end of the line is only the beginning in a wild, non-stop thrill ride through modern-day Japan. - Krátké a kreslené filmy

"You gotta be better prepar- I'm mansplaining, I'm sorry." LOL
For me it's when he keeps asking her if she needs something as she's dying.
"what do you think, bietch!"
This scene reminds me of Kill Bill when Kiddo and Daryl Hammond fight scene in the trailer, umma ripped her eye Ball out
You can say, it killed her too
In an age where Hollywood is shitting out remakes and re-imaginings, this is a fresh, original, film that is well written, well acted, well directed, and VERY well edited.
Based on a book but yeah, it is fresh.
Gives me a bit of a Scott Pilgrim vibe

I love how the two assassins with the least amount of screen time died in the same train cart. By their own weapons too.
Tangerine also died from his own gun.
White death kills his assassin's with their own weapon 😌
I love how Brad Pitt is the biggest psycho of them all. The way he handles the situation with " Can I get you anything? " while she bleeds from her eyes and ears. a stoic psychopath :P

Its pretty smart to think of really, a person who uses super deadly poison as their killing tool would likely have a dose of anti venom around, and considering the speed that it takes effect they would have to have it on them.
He just had to wait for her to show him where it was.
@@CZcamsIsRetarded689 problem is, as deadly as that snakes described there WOULDNT be an antivenin available. Theres no point if its impossible for anyone to actually reach a hospital in time for it to be effective.

For a “snatch and grab” guy, he’s a pretty good fighter.
If I’m not wrong, he only does snatch-and-grabs because it exposes him to the least people right ? So it isn’t about his ability, just his own preference.
Correct me if I’m wrong
He used to be an assassin, then later woke up and choose peace

He's an assassin, after his therapy he chose the path of least resistance -ie less killing to reflect his new lifestyle.
He also does other jobs like surveillance, infiltration and the like.
@@janusceasar7851 it's just his bad luck

The .... book?? Bahaha
Super unlucky? Didn’t read the books but in the movie he spent all his skill points on luck lol (despite the fact that he got in a train initially) - half of the assassins killed themselves, he survived very very bad crash of a train which moved like hundreds km/h - and in the end he will get a reputation of an ultimate killing machine
This is the luckiest bastard out there

This was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time, pretty subversive in some ways too. The Hornet is supposed to be this badass assassin but is only in the movie for like 5 minutes before she dies horribly by her own venom because she didn’t think to bring a second antidote with her lmao.
It also makes sense when you see how she operates in flashbacks. She's only ever shown killing by attacking unsuspecting people from ambush, or poisoning objects that they are going to use/consume. So she's underprepared and a bit too inexperienced when it comes to killing people who can fight back.
@@thuranz2773 Not to mention that the handler also says that she wasn't supposed to be on the train according the "official" channels, so it's likely that she's either new, inexperienced, or cocky enough to not be a "unionized" underworlder

@@AB-fp3yt That's what I was actually expecting....

That's Domino? She got fat.
I like how precise the dialogue is. 30 seconds before the venom does its thing, Ladybug was stung at 1:24, he got the anecdote at 1:53, just 1 second before the venom kills him. The Hornet on the other hand, was stung at 1:28, and started bleeding at 1:58.
Useless little observation, still fun though.
I love little details like these in movies
Actually he wasn’t even poison since the injection wasn’t pressed down he just got cut
@@thescarredsinner895 No, a single drop is lethal
This is something that drives me crazy in movies, when they're like "10 seconds!" But it takes more like half a minute.
@@MarcoAdventures Ah, but that's the thing with hypodermic needles, their diameter is so small, that air or fluids can only travel through them one way. As opposed to a bottle opening for instance that's wide enough for water to come out while air goes in. So the only way fluids can travel through that needle is if they are forced through by the pressure being applied on the syringe (as air can only travel into the closed system from the front of the needle, thus pushing the fluid back).
Which means, in all likelihood, Ladybug didn't get poisoned. Even the small amount of force of the syringe falling and stopping probably got cancelled out by the pressure of air and tissue being forced into the needle.
Though I do not blame him for making sure.
I love Zazie Beetz so much. She has 2 minutes of screentime and makes her character really memorable

Another detail I love about this movie is that, after he said "30 seconds before the venom does its thing", it really did take 30 seconds later for The Hornet to start bleeding from her eyes.
Meanwhile, the Ladybug had the antidote injected into himself after 29 seconds. Well done with the accuracy.
I love how genuinely shocked he is when he find out she doesn't have a back up! Like damn you survived this long without a basic backup?!

You must be blind if you think this film wasn't marketed all to well. Sony went all the way marketing Bullet Train all that well for months as for Universal's Nope marketing campaign it was somewhat a confusing misfire making mainstream audience think it was going to something more instead it turn out to be something that it was not

I love Brad Pitt’s character here. He should do more movies like this. Action-comedy is his thing.
She probably should have backed up before going for the antidote.
I was thinking that I’d have ran
She only had 30 seconds before she started dying. I don't think you would be thinking about running. The only thing going through your brain would be to use the antidote.
With ladybug right in front of her banking on her pulling it out? He’d have stood there and let his only chance of survival run or back away? Think guys
@@MOMO-436 I’m not saying he wouldn’t have pursued her. But it would’ve given her more of a chance to use it on herself without him grabbing it.
@@Zeddyboi86 Tbh not really. Time wasn’t on either of their sides lol. She stopped underestimating ladybug the moment he got over the shock of being mildly poisoned to do the smartest thing possible in that situation and poison her right back. If she tried moving away he would have pinned her down.
I love how she didn't have the foresight to knock him down or run before applying the antidote and he was swift enough to snatch it.
If she turned he could grab her shoulders to prevent that. If she stepped back he could set forward. He was very carefully watching her movements so it would’ve been easy to react to her movements.
I think she wanted to inject herself in front of him before he died.
I love how the Boomslang was a whole...anti-chekov's gun throughout the movie. Does little more then scare some people and slither around the background, when it finally bites someone it's just "Oh, I had some antivenom earlier"

True, but also I think moving makes the blood pump faster and makes the venom act faster
If you run the blood pump faster bruh
also she probably was in shock...hard to come up immediately with a solution in the heat of the moment.
I think one of the rules involved in the event of snake bite or snake venom is to try to relax and avoid exertion to reduce the venom spreading throughout your body. Of course the situation is already stressful enough, nevertheless, relax and stay still until help arrives (if you've already contacted first aid responders).
Its also worth pointing out he was older than her and had the poison first. She might have gambled he would go down first and panicked.
1:25 I love that look of panic and quick thinking, when he stabbed her with the remainder (and probably 90% of the test of that needle) I was cheering.
You don't see that happen much.
The introduction to this fight, the music, the way the camera pans from the picture to her face, his reaction, it's perfect. This is the best scene in the movie.

Fun fact the boomslang snake is actually a real snake. One bite and you start bleeding from your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, butthole, and penis. Also, your internal organs all start to drown in its own blood, including your brain.
The reason it does this is the cause, this is one of the rare snakes that uses hemotoxins and hemotoxin causes all your blood vessels to pop. Basically, the venom would be like is someone started stabbing a knife into a garden hose thousand of times. That is what happens if you get bit by a boomslang.
Wtf dude that’s a scary death, i wish we all can work together to wipe out their species all at once
Does it react as fast as in the movie? Sure its dramatized with how fast ts acting right?
@@affanlego121099 No its not that fast, you dont get a antivenom you will start to die within an hour. But blood wont start coming out of your eyes till 5-6 hours in. Rare cases you die within 30 minutes, because the hemotoxin clogs your blood.
😨
Jesus H Christ
@@affanlego121099 No, it does not work as Allen Han wrote. It is slow acting venom which simply inhibits coagulation ability of blood. This means, that any injury, external or internal does not close properly. And you can bleed out even from relatively minor injury. But it takes hours or even days, before it happens. Fact is, that boomslang snake usually do not inject enough venom to be lethal. LD50 is 0.1-0.2 mg/kg so average human need to get 8 to 16 mg ov venom. Boomslang is capable to inject 2-8 mg.
Bleeding from your orifices is possible only if you have injuries there and those injuries are big enough to allow significant throughput. Effects showed in movie are utterly BS.
Most dangerous is that venom only if you have cardiovascular problem, like Cavernous hemangioma, when you have regular microbleedings into brain or ohter vital organs (but only brain is most problematic here). Because if this microbleeding is not coagulated it can result into stroke and subsequent death.
