I've been getting a lot of complex timbres out of the IC with the crossmod, my favourite use of it is with the internal patch setting set to 2. Here's a little demo of it

This is being sequenced externally, the internal seq I use to sequence the parameters on the synth so you get looping sequenced changes to the sound. You can use the interal sequencer for pitch info too, but it's an analogue sequencer so you need to tune each step.
