PRINCE2 Foundation PRINCE2 and the PRINCE2 Guide Who is this course intended for

This accredited project management course provides a complete walkthrough of the PRINCE2® terminology defined in Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®, the official manual of the method published by the Cabinet Office in 2017.

Our PRINCE2® courses run throughout the year, usually with at least one course per month. Courses run either on weekdays or Saturdays, based on the published schedule.
You will take a one-hour multiple-choice test at the end of the course or onwards, which leads to the official PRINCE2® Foundation, 6th Edition certificate.
Entry requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, you should familiarise yourself with the methods manual and study for around 10 hours before the first training day. You will also need to study between training days.

The Foundation course introduces the basics behind the PRINCE2® process-based method and prepares you for the test that leads to the PRINCE2® Foundation, 6th Edition certificate.
The course begins by exploring the increasing importance of projects in today’s world before discussing what a project is, why projects fail and what the role of the project manager is. We will then introduce the structure of PRINCE2®, which consists of its principles, themes, processes and the idea of tailoring the method to its environment, before we expand on and explain each of these elements in turn.
