I was born in 1972, My dad was dragging me to Cumberland oval as soon as I could walk, I remember a lot about parramatta from those days still, Ray Price was A stand out. Great memories.
I remember as a Halifax fan watching Ray Price in the deciding Ashes test at Headingley, November 1978 standing in front of the posts, waiting for any place kicks to bounce back, never seen that before. The Aussie team included Chris Anderson and my Aussie hero the Wombat Graham Eadie who played in our winning Challenge Cup team team at Wembley in 1987, beating St Helens, Wombat won the Man of the Match Lance Todd trophy
