About the Shaykh:
Jalal Abualrub, originally from Phalasteen (Palestine), studied Al-Albani’s books before meeting Al-Albani numerous times in Dubai and Amman, and during the last hajj Al-Albani attended. Jalal Abualrub also attended numerous classes for Sunnah scholars from Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan, in addition to Arab teachers. The shaykh Jalal Abualrub calls ‘my shaikh,’ is Imam Al-Albani. - Zábava

He also sent me Book the biography and life mission of Mohammed ibn Abdul wahab as a GIft , this book covers topics such as wahabism/salfism and life mission of Of ibn Abdul wahab.

I am very happy to see this interview, mashallah. I have met sheikh jalal many times when I was in Austin TX as he was a regular speaker at our masjid and had many dawah events at our University. He has written extensively about Muhammed bin Abdulwahab and his Dawah. I recommend reading his book on this topic. Please do consider supporting his dawah work. He is really a hidden Gem 💎! 24:12 Subhana’Allah this is exactly the state we are living in now, so much energy is spent on division yet lack of knowledge, labeling and crossing out other Muslims yet we can’t even explain the kalimah more so implement it.
Worst part is many of us especially born Muslims actually hate the word aqeedah claiming it brings division, others saying “its not that important” astaghfirullah and with this ignorance we still ask why there is so much fitnah (Divorces, killings, apostasy, oppression, homosexuality, lack of akhlaq and haya etc)
This reminds me of the Hadith in sunan Ibn Majah 4019
May Allah guide us all to wake up and love our dean more than this duniya
And just to add, the thought that "we should unite just on Laa ilaaha illallah, despite any differences" is absurd.
Then for what was the Quran and Sunnah and the struggle of the sahaabah for?!? Our rasool did not just teach us the kalimah and abandoned us. The Aqeedah is the foundation on which any good deeds will stand upon.
If people just think about this, they would realize how strange their idea is.

Just like Islam is Iman and Iman is Islam but both when together emphasize different things, Sunni is Salafi, both terms emphasize 2 different things, Salaf is Quran 9 :100 the path/isnad, and the goal is the Sunnah that is relayed to us!

I came accross to one of the lectures of Sheikh Jalal10 years ago titled “The Wahhabi Myth”, I heard a lots of bad things about Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdulwahhab. Back then, I didn’t have any idea that there were different sects in Islam, fortunately, I was invited by my colleague at work to attend a weekly class in one the Islamic Centers in Madinah, KSA. Alhamdulillah, now I know that Sheikh Muhammad Bin Abdulwahhab was one of the Imams of Sunnah and the people who hate him are deviants, mubtadis, and mushriks.
May Allah protect and preserve our beloved Sheikh Jalal Abulrub, he is one of the leading scholars promoting sunnah in the west- Ameen

There is no such thing as "wahabism". That's a term heavily used by shia or sufis to discredit and tarnish Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jammah. AKA Salafiyyah Aka following the companions and their students understanding of the Quran and the hadith.
I know the term "wahabism " is used to turn away from learning the true islam . A lot mushrik sufi here in Canada publicly say that they don't agree with the teaching of the Prophet ( Peace and Blessing of Allah be upon him) . May Allah guide the people who are sincere.

After the Ottoman Empire took control of the Arab countries, they spread the construction of shrines to the imams and scholars of Islam, and Muslim cemeteries, such as the Al-Baqi cemetery, and they began to encourage people to ask for intercession from the dead.
This is one of the Sufi paths that the friends of the Prophet Muhammad did not do, pbuh, because it is major polytheism.
I advise you to watch the lesson on monotheism (altawhid) by Sheikh Abu Osama Al-Dhahabi or Hassan Somali.
The problem of polytheism and shrines is present among Sufis and Shiites in abundance.
The infidels of Quraish were asking for intercession from the idols, while the Sufi Muslims asked for it from the shrines
bidah They are the rituals, superstitions and actions that were not in the religion of God at the time of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh or his companions
Such as what the Sufis do with the divine dance or the Day of Isra and Miraj, or what the Shiites do in the forty days and make memorials for the killing of Imam Hussein and the practices that take place in it, etc..
Bidah: It means invention in the religion of a new saying, deed, or thought that is not from the religion of God that the Prophet Muhammad brought pbuh.
Therefore, the thoughts of the Ash’aris regarding the attributes of God are (bidah).
What the Mu'tazilites said about the Qur'an being created is the bidah.
The Prophet Muhammad pbuh told us what it means: that Muslims will differ .. and that the group that is right is the one who follows the Prophet Muhammad pbuh and his friends

The Wahhabis are the Sunnis, the people of hadith, the Salafis and the al-Athari. There is no difference. But the reason for the labels I will tell you about.
Wahhabism: It is originally a political movement that was launched to bring Muslims back to the belief of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh and his companions in monotheism. The name was launched from the Ottoman Empire to demonize them and that they are outside the Sultanate.. It is now called Shiites and Sufis the same name for a religious reason because they are worshipers of shrines and graves and violate the approach of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh .
Ahl al-Hadith: It means the scholars of the Prophet’s hadith and the scholars of the Salafis are the most knowledgeable and keen to study the sciences of hadith and to know the validity of the weak and authentic hadiths. Therefore, after reading the hadith, you will hear a lot of words that have been trusted by Al-Albani, Ibn Uthaymeen, Ibn Baz, etc.. These are scholars of hadith in this century.
The Salafis: It means following the companions of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh, and they are our righteous predecessors Without inventions because the religion of the Prophet Muhammad pbuh is complete and clear and does not accept modification or new ideas in the creed.
Al-Athari: The same meaning as Salafism.
The Maturidi, the Sufis, and the Ash'aris, along with the Salafis, are called Sunnis if they are spoken of against the Shiites.
But the Salafis expel the Ash’aris and Maturidis from Ahl al-Sunnah and vice versa

I understand that most of the followers of this order are laymen and do not truly know the foundations of this misguided sect. Uthaymeen and bin baaz are one of the worsts of all time.
The one who claims Allah is above the throne, would either say one of two things.
1. Either he believes the Throne existed with Allah eternally & that’s shirk. Because Allah is the Creator of the Throne, & only Allah is without a beginning.
2. Or, he’s claiming Allah in Eternity existed without a Place, but then became a volume dwelling above the Throne & that’s blasphemy. Because Allah changing would mean He has created attributes.
Following it up by saying, “but that’s what’s in the Quran.” Is like saying I believe the Quran contains something that makes no sense. Clearly it’s not what Islam teaches.
Allah exists without a place, without time, & without any resemblance to the creations.
False, Allah himself said He is above His throne.
This alone refutes you, but we have more.
The Prophet ﷺ made it specifically clear that Allah is above His throne. In fact, the famous Hadith of the slave girl is enough, he ﷺ asked " اين الله؟" ،she replied "في السماء". Imam Shafi'i رحمه الله commented on this and stated that it is a Sunnah to test the peoples Aqeedah like this.
But we are not done yet. The Sahaba were specifically clear where Allah is.

“O people, if Muhammad ﷺ is the god whom you worship, then (your god) has died, and if your god is the one above the heaven, then he hasn’t died.”

Allah عزوجل Exists without a place.
Two basic principles further demonstrate this fact:
1. Who created the place? Allah عزوجل.
Allah عزوجل created everything, just as has been explained in the Qur'an.
2. Did Allah عزوجل exist when there was no place? Of course, there is no doubt that He existed.
It is therefore confirmed with certainty that Allah عزوجل created the place AND that Allah exists eternally without a place. In other words “Allah عزوجل existed eternally without a place when there was no place” and “after creating the place He exists without a place.”
Allah عزوجل existed and there was no such thing as ‘place’ or ‘direction’. Allah عزوجل is neither inside the creation nor outside of the creation.
He is neither outside of the creation and connected to it nor outside of the creation and disconnected from it. Sayyiduna Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رضي الله عنه said; “Whatever you imagine in your mind Allah عزوجل is different to it.”
"He is beyond having limits placed on Him, or being restricted, or having parts or limbs. Nor is He contained by the six directions as all created things are."

AQEEDAH ISTAWA
“We assert that Allah عزوجل established Himself over the throne without His need (Hâja) nor settlement (Istiqrâr) upon it, for He it is Who preserves the Throne and other than it without needing any of them.”

"Attributing aboveness (Fawqiyah) to Allah عزوجل is a matter of status, and the impossibility lies in it being physical."
This means Allah عزوجل exists without a place and is clear from being in a direction or place. And the "Fawqiyah" or aboveness when attributed to Allah عزوجل it refers to abovness of status and greatness of Allah عزوجل, the exalted. He is the creator Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala that does not need any of the creations in any way.

Narrated by Shaykh Ibn Arabi al-Maliki al-Ash’ari رحمه الله regarding the, those who say Allah has a body; “The sound verdict is that they are blasphemers, because there is no difference between them and those that worship idols and pictures.”

DIRECTION, BODY FOR ALLAH
Imam al-Iraqi, Imam al-Qurafiy, Ibn Hajar al-Haytami and Mulla Ali al-Qari and many others reported that the Imams of the Four Schools whom are the guide of the Ummah (Imam Abu Hanifa, ash-Shafi'i, Malik, Ahmad bin Hanbal رضي الله عنهم) all declared those who attribute to Allah the direction or the body with disbelieve (kufr)."

Shaykh Abd al-Ghani an-Nabulsi al-Hanafi al-Maturidi al-Naqshbandi رحمه الله stated; “the one who believes that Allah عزوجل fills the heavens and the earth or says that Allah عزوجل is a body on top of the al-Arsh is a Kafir (disbeliever) even if he considers himself to be a Muslim.''
It is not permissible to say a wrong statement about Allah عزوجل and then say; “in a way that befits His Majesty”. Hence, it is wrong to say, “Allah عزوجل is everywhere in a way that befits His Majesty (Shaan)”. This is like the Kufr of the one who says; “Allah عزوجل is ignorant, but in a way that befits His Majesty (Shaan)” or who says, “Allah عزوجل has a son but not like my son.” Both of these statements are clear Kufr.
May Allah عزوجل keep us firm on the Aqeedah of the Salaf us-Saliheen رضوان الله عليهم أجمعين, the Aqeedah of the Muslims i.e. the al-Maturidi al-Ash'ari..Ameen!

Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله afffirmed Allah is above His throne so why quote him? You clearly do not know who he is.

Remember, many sunni scholars witnessed this and spoke against it! For example Muhammad ibn Abidin a major Hanafi scholar said in his - Radd al-Muhtar,
3/339-340, chapter regarding the followers of 'Abd al- Wahhab, said that the Khawarij of our times "The followers of M. Ibn Abdul Wahhab believed that they were Muslims and that whoever opposed them were idol worshippers. By doing this, they declared the killing of the scholars and laymen of Muslim Orthodoxy as permissible."
(Shafi Mufti in Mecca, Sheikh Ahmad Zayni Dahlan (d. 1304 H.) says in his book 'umara' al-balad al-haram.
"When the Wahhabis entered at-Ta'if they killed the people in mass including the elderly and the
children, the honourables, the princes and the
layman. They even slaughtered the suckling infants by their mothers' breasts. They also assaulted the pilgrims to Mecca through extortion and murder."
The Maliki Sheikh Ahmad as-Sawi (d. 1241 H.) mentioned in his commentary on al-Jalalayn [vol.3 p.307-308]
"They are a sect in the Hijaz region (East Arabia)
who are called the Wahhabis, they think they have a legitimate authority but indeed they are the liars
who have been deceived by the devil who has made them forget the remembrance of their Lord. Those are the evil satanic sect; in fact the sect of Satan is defeated.”
Maliki scholar, Imam Ahmad as-Sawi continues
"The Khawarij corrupted the meaning of the Book
and the Sunnah. This can be witnessed now in a cult that appeared in Al-Hijaz by the name of the
Wahhabis. They think they are upon something, but they are only liars."
Hanbali Qadi, Sulaiman ibn Suhaim [d. 1773] says
"Whoever does not agree with him [In Adul
Wahhab], then he judges them with having
committed major kufr... So in reality he is calling to the Tawhid of himself rather than to the Tawhid of Allah."
Imam Anwar Shah al-Kashmiri says in his commentary on
Sahih al-Bukhari, 'Faydh al-Bari 'ala Sahih al-Bukhari",
1/171:
"As for Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab al-Najdi,
then indeed he was an idiotic man of little
knowledge, thus he would be hasty in making takfir. Diving into this river (of takfir) is not appropriate except for the one who is cautious upon, proficient in, and well-acquainted with the existence of disbelief and it's causes.'
Hanbali, Dawud in Sulaiman Al-Khalidi [d.1881\ says
"The Wahhabis oppose Muslim Orthodoxy and the madhabs while leading the Ummah astray,
declaring the blood and wealth of MUSLIMS halal
for spilling and seizure. This group took filthy, dark
doubts & used them to surround
people.
Hanbali scholar, Ibn Humaid [d. 1878] BIOGRAPHIC work
on Hanbali scholars, p.680 says:
"If [MIAW] was unable to kill openly, he would send someone to assassinate him in their bed or in the marketplace at night, since he judged whoever contradicted him with takfir and legalised their killing.”
Hanbali scholar Mustafa ash Shatti in his book An-Nuqul ash-Shariyyah fir-Radd Al al-Wahhabiyyah (The Divine Texts in Answering Muhammad in 'Abdul Wahhab and his followers).
