Great to see you again! we've been studying maths in schools that we won't really need in real life but it does train to us to think logically and be more focussed in critical thinking, which is why many people hate maths not knowing the real use of it plus having the teacher's that makes it look hard for them
I honestly do mental maths as a hobby so I do it sometimes, not at a regular or constant rate. I just enjoy maths in general which is why I do mental maths. People in my class call me a human calculator though I am far from being a human calculator. I always (somehow) get full marks or close to full marks on maths(almost everytime without a calculator) with barely any effort. I honestly don't think of myself as superior to others. This is just my unique hobby as like people who play piano, guitar and other hobbies. I do say that it is true that we don't need mental maths nowadays and we can also use calculators in exams but I find pleasure in doing mental maths which is why I do it.

some stuff like square root, cube root and 2 digit and one digit number on times table on my head i couldnt believe i can do it. because am not good of memorizing thing on my head for too long. but when i learnt this stuff, but now anybody that tell me about cube root i will be able to answer it within 10 second

Hello sir, I have been following ur channel from a long time...I recently discovered that u are doing ur course on astrophysics , I also a interest and want to to do this course in future...I currently in 12th and have taken pcb alongside I'm preparing for Neet exam...but I want to do PhD Astrophysics...I want your guidance ...I haven't taken maths in my 11 and 12th std...how can I get into one ...what exams and courses should I do in the process of getting a PhD... should I prepare for IISER Aptitude Test, will this test land me on the path of astrophysics?
the easiest path is , do a Bsc in Physics Hons, then a Msc in physics and while doing Msc clear one of these tests like GATE,JEST,CSIR NET, Then you can get admission to a Phd program of a institute you like after giving an interview.

too err is human , its normal to make mistakes , people tend to fear mistakes when there is a huge penalty, like a student will not fear to make mistake in his notebook when no one is watching , but if they are solving on a board they will fear being judged on basic mistakes .. so they will fear mistakes.

1. there was a video i watched and the person said that is not good to be using mental calculation in external examination, the reason she said that is because u might get confused at a stage the person now adviced us to be using a calculator or better still if u know mental maths very well that u shouldnt do it on your head that u should write it on a paper.
so my question now, is it good to use mental calculation on your head in external examination
