To open a bank account I have to jump through all kinds of hoops. The banks know who these people are, they know where live. The reason the banks do nothing is because the banks are profiting off the victims too.

Never give money or personal information to anyone. With all the scams we just have to check out everyone and everything. Exept all things new a scam..

I wonder how could people fall for such obvious scams. Then I realise they're probably recyclers who believe in sustainability.

It's much more to it. It takes time to see and resist psycho manipulations. I recommend anyone to at least learn 'Narcissistic Red Flags'. Pls look up Prof. Sam Vaknin, HG Tudor (both self aware narcissists, 2nd uses strong language but has brilliant analysis), Dr. Ramani, Dr. Les Carter, Dr Abdul Saad (Australian), Prof. Patricia Casey, Fr Dave Nix, Michelle Lee Nieves, SoulGPS, Joanna Kujath (Highly Sensitive Person herself, Australian). There's a lot to it, knowing definition is not enough. Surely you know many & have no idea. Maybe Elizabeth Holmes, mother of Karen Carpenter, your politicians neglecting voices of the nations? They flock to jobs like pastors, doctors, lawyers, teachers.

I was scammed out of more than $50,000 with one of the big banks and offered 10% as a compensation.

I won with CITY bank, complained about them to authorities. Precision, facts, persistence.

    Thought popped into my head.
Why would any country least of China want to stop this massive haemorrhage. Money pooring out of western countries is perfect for bringing them to their knees.
I'm not suggesting China has some plan or is any part of it.
I know zip about regulations that could stop it.
But it seems like it should be priority number 1.

How can someone fall in love with someone they have never met in person online romance puzzles me if it caused by loneliness then there is something to be learned about loneliness instead of looking for someone to fill the loneliness better to look for how to be fulfilled from within how to be self sufficient

No sympathy. If a random (always overly attractive) online love interest starts suggesting investing, block them and start engaging your neglected brain.
If you can’t hold back for some bizarre reason, remember the old saying about not putting all your eggs in one basket.
