    With these hair fibers, a particular colour may not match your natural shade, but you can mix 2 fiber colours. Apply the darker fiber first then the lighter on top and seal with hairspray. Also, some companies have a hairline optimizer to make the hairline look more natural. IMO the jury's still out on this tool.

    Thanks for that. I've been using fibers for the past few months now. I've used jel all my life and personally I think that stuff damages your hair and I suddenly found I've a bald patch at the crown. I had it for a few years and even went for a hair transplant in 2016 and I'm still waiting for that hair to grow. Disaster. But I just found out about this stuff and gave it a try and it really works. I wash my hair every third or fourth day and was worried it could damage it like the jel. But it doesn't. So my confidence is sky high now

    in my experience, hair fiber were meant to conceal any signs of hair loss, not to make your hair grow back.. emphasis on the CONCEAL aspect. in my experience, the only drawback is when you want to scratch your head. it will leave many "dirt" in your nail. but as for sweat, if you apply enough amount, they will stick to your head skin and your head sweat actually helps keep them together.

    I just tried this product today I was was literally shocked at how well it worked. I got 2 hair transplants in the past but due to how advanced my hair loss was I’m still very thin especially on the crown. This product gave me a beautiful head of hair in minutes. Also easy to apply to myself with no help.
    This is not an add even tho my enthusiasm might make it seem that way. If you haven’t tried it then try it. Maybe you will love it as much as I do.

      I use the brand Toppik and Yes I still use it. I will keep using it as long as it is available. It only works if you have enough hair (a ‘scaffold’ if you will) to cling to and build on so if I lose more of my natural hair I suppose I would have to stop using it . Here’s hoping that never happens 🤞🏻
      As far as rain it’s best to keep your hair as dry as possible, just like you would do with any hair product you put in. A cap to protect it from rain is an option but you can remove some fibres and leave an embarrassing mess if your not careful.
      Give it a try, the jar I buy is only $30 and I get like 20-30 applications out of that which is worth it in my opinion

      Style your hair with product. Be sure all the product is completely dry and not sticky before applying the fibers. After applying, pat or lightly comb the hair superficially so the fibers aren't sitting on the surface (but, at the same time, you don't want the fibers to all fall to the scalp either). Then use hairspray to seal the fibers.

But it looks a lot better when it's super clean after washing it three times and drying it. Some shampoos tend to create fizz and I'd like to avoid that unless there's a way to calm the frizz without affecting the hair. Something that will give body/volume and shine. Any advice?

      I've never had an issue. Been using this stuff for a year and I never had an issue in light rain. It help up quite well. If its heavy rain i'll simply bring a rain coat before I leave the house and cover my head with the hood when walking in the rain

    Toppik is a great product and I have used it for years on the days I want my hair to look thicker. It will only wash out in a shower or heavier rain(so bring an umbrella if you think it is going to rain). Also you do not have to worry about it coming out if you sweat (I have never had a problem with that).

    • @Arthineas
      @Arthineas Před 3 lety

      @@LeeKeels It does not stain or get on my pillow at all. Once you have the fibers where you want them just use a little bit of hairspray. They won't go anywhere. No need to buy any companies special "fiber hold" spray (although they do the job) if you don't want to. Any hairspray will work.
