A fun way to see "harmonics" You can see the maximum height on the wet line drew in the wall, it's interesting to see that it reaches a maximum height and then it doesn't get back that high.
It's also interesting to see that the first waves are more "round" as if they are more pure(not countered by the returning tides) and as the following waves come, their peaks start to get less round and saw-cut like.
Actually, it can get higher than the 'wet line' seen here if they want to. It can get some waves over the edge.

What is this for?
It's a test facility, so it's used for all kinds of purposes. For example testing scientific theories, testing the shapes and materials of dikes, dams and levies, hull shapes and strengths of oceanic vessels, and so on.
