Article 1 Definitions
“standing recommendation” means non-binding advice issued by WHO
“temporary recommendation” means non-binding advice issued by WHO
Article 2 Scope and purpose
including through health systems readiness and resilience in ways that are commensurate with and restricted to public health risk all risks with a potential to impact public health,
Article 3 Principles
The implementation of these Regulations shall be with full respect for the dignity, human rights and fundamental freedoms of persons
Article 4 Responsible authorities
each State Party should inform WHO about the establishment of its National Competent Authority responsible for overall implementation of the IHR that will be recognized and held accountable
Article 5 Surveillance
the State Party may request a further extension not exceeding two years from the Director-General, who shall make the decision refer the issue to World Health Assembly which will then take a decision on the same
WHO shall collect information regarding events through its surveillance activities
Article 6 Notification
No sharing of genetic sequence data or information shall be required under these Regulations.
Article 9: Other Reports
reports from sources other than notifications or consultations
Before taking any action based on such reports, WHO shall consult with and attempt to obtain verification from the State Party in whose territory the event is allegedly occurring
Article 10 Verification
whilst encouraging the State Party to accept the offer of collaboration by WHO, taking into account the views of the State Party concerned.
Article 11 Exchange of information
WHO shall facilitate the exchange of information between States Parties and ensure that the Event Information Site For National IHR Focal Points offers a secure and reliable platform
Parties referred to in those provisions, shall not make this information generally available to other States Parties, until such time as when:
(e) WHO determines it is necessary that such information be made available to other States Parties to make informed, timely risk assessments.

In school we are taught that we study history so we can avoid repeating it. I in turn would argue that a future of repeating tragedies is never set in stone because there will always be courageous individuals (like those mentioned in the comments) who at great risk to themselves are willing to challenge the narrative. However, for the narrative to actually shift, in addition to these brave individuals speaking out, the public must collectively become aware of the historical context behind the current dysfunctional narrative.

The benefit of the last couple years is that each country acted differently and we can learn from that. Taking away options will likely lead to disaster.
Has been nice to see in a way that people are changing their ways. John did not see all this a few years ago at the start of the pandemic many people didn’t but now he has educated himself and looked outside mainstream media and can see what is going on let’s hope this is happening to many people.

I did not like Dr C comments and marketing the vxx which were very new and not researched enough. I stopped watching his clips however, his videos became more varied & closer to the truth in the recent months.

Remember how, when it came to partying and making long-distance journeys during lockdowns, those (officials) who ignored the regulations that almost everyone else was abiding by, used the fact it was not law to excuse their behaviour.

This is outrageous. We have no rights or say for future plandemics. We need all our MPs to vote to get out of WHO. Even that takes a year!

It was non binding before ,then they it binding in as international law but just recently they changed it back to non binding because a cue the countries debt agree with it.the binding bit.!😊

As Smoky points out, not just pandemics, but anything that affects health (according to the WHO). That will include anything that they deem impacts climate change - which could include anything from how much you use your car to your very existence.
On 17 April there was a debate in Westminster on the Pandemic Treaty in response to the Petition "Do not sign any WHO Pandemic Treaty unless it is approved via public referendum". At the end of the debate Esther McVey asked Minister Anne- Marie Trevelyan "Can the Minister reassure my constituents who are concerned that the Government will concede sovereignty and hand power to the WHO? Can she give reassurances that that will not happen?"
The Minister responded: "Yes absolutely I can. The speculation that somehow the instrument will undermine UK sovereignty and give WHO powers over national public health policy is simply not the case".
There is a major problem here in that the proposed drafting and direction of travel by the WHO in seeking to establish control over national policy, not even limited to matters of health and pandemic preparedness, is inconsistent with the reassurances given by the Minister. The Government needs to resolve the drafting such that it conforms with the Minister's reassurances or withdraw from the WHO.
