    Cancun has a bevy of options when it comes to resorts to choose from, and one popular hotel chain that operates there is Marriott Resorts. Their Bonvoy program is rewarding to members, who like to come on vacation and use their points to travel for free (I know I do!). Which one is best in 2023?
    There are three full-service Marriott properties on the beach in Cancun- the Ritz-Carlton Cacun, the JW Marriott Cancun, and the Marriott Cancun. We stayed at all three, and compared the rooms, the pools, the beach, and offerings at each to help you make a decision for your next trip down south of the border! (Note: this video was made before the Ritz-Carlton left the Marriott program. It's now the Kempinski Hotel Cancun).

    Curious - what was it about the JW breakfast for Platinums that you didn't like? And was it buffet-style or off menu? Also Platinum here and looking at this one, also.

    • @JacksonJetsetting
      @JacksonJetsetting  Před 3 lety +2

      It was very very continental. Boxed (not fresh) juice, yogurt, fruit plate, bread served at table when we visited (may change during your visit due to higher occupancy now). No ability to upgrade to a better breakfast or use it towards something on the menu. Wasn’t super user friendly- the Marriott next door had the ability to upgrade to the full buffet which I very much appreciated!

      @@JacksonJetsetting oh wow thanks. We always pay extra for the buffet option. Sucks there wasn't even an option. Hate when it's just continental. Especially at a JW and especially in Mexico. Not like it's a business hotel where you eat on the go. Thanks for the heads up!

      We LOVED the Zilara, but if you have kids, the Ziva has a lot more activities (and allows kids). Further south, our favorite hotel in all of Mexico is the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen. I have a video tour up on my channel of the Zilara and the Grand Hyatt if you wanna check it out!

      Zillaria for Adults only, Ziva for families. But the Ziva is WAY nicer and better, due to its location, beach, and snorkeling. there is also a adults-only private section at ziva. I reccomend
