I completely agree. I play a silver transverse flute and aslo NA flute. I have several NA flutes. Love them and the wonderful mellow woody sound. It’s a little different technique that transvers flute due to the embresure We also use the exaggerated tonguing that is basically hard enough to temporarily jump into the next harmonic. We do this in Jazz and Rock style flute playing. Not in classical.

Timing, yes... Since getting my mic (the AKG Lyra, which has been great!) listening back to my playing has been highlighting the need to sharpen up my timing, and clean up notes. Cheers for sharing and giving back.
