How to setup DST on SONY Dream Machine Alarm Clock

Here's the Time zone setting for the Sony ICF-C318 model (this may differ from other models for timezone)
1 = Atlantic Standard/Daylight Time
2 (default) = Eastern Standard/Daylight Time
3 = Central Standard/Daylight Time
4 = Mountain Standard/Daylight Time
5 = Pacific Standard/Daylight Time
6 = Yukon Standard/Daylight Time
7 = Hawaiian Standard/Daylight Time

Do you know how to set up the "Auto Time Set" feature? Many of the Dream Machines "claim" that you only have to set it up once...by somehow choosing the "time zone" ... and then the clock will change time 2 times a year (once going into Daylight Savings Time and once going out of Daylight Savings Time.
My Sony did this for several years. Then the time on clock somehow got messed up and now every time I look at the clock, I have to remember that it is showing 30 minutes fast (eg, 2:30pm when it is 2:00pm).

What is Time Zone 5? I'm in the Central Time Zone, would that be 2, or 3?

Pacific=5, Central =3 and East=2. So in your case it's 2.

I have Sony Dream Machine ICF-C211. It runs ahead of the standard time and keeps running like Forest Gump. What can be done to fix this problem ? Thanks
