It's cool that you went scuba diving on that reef and got to see all that sea life. Years ago when I lived in Florida, a few friends and I went down to Key Largo (Island South of Miami). One of my friends didn't like boats because she didn't know how to swim. I took her over to check out the canoes to see if she would want to try them. Long story short. I took her out on the water for her first time canoeing ever. We went through some narrow mangrove channels to avoid the bigger boats in the larger channels. My friend forgot her fear of boats within the first 10 minutes of being on the water. She had fun asking me all kinds of questions about the different sea life we were seeing. We even had a large manatee swimming along side us for a while. My friend was enjoying herself so much that when it was time to finish canoeing, she made me promise to take her canoeing again which I did. So much for her fear of boats. lol

That was such an epic adventure of snorkeling with the shark and other marvelous sea life. I see why you enjoyed it so much. Thanks for sharing your cleaning and evening routines. You are a balanced and organized person no doubt. It seems when life and full time work and/or education become mixed with responsibilities the work-life balance tends to topple, at least for me. I laughed when you said "I don't do this routine on editing days...those days I edit for 15 hours straight" - as you know I make CZcams videos in a similar spirit as yours and girl, that is exactly what I'm doing today (editing) and I don't think I've stopped for most of the day. haha. This video was the perfect reprieve while I take a break💛 . So healing to hear your experience with sharks - I grew up partially in Hawai'i and open water/ sharks are one of my greatest fears but one day I've had the thought to try something like this to work through that. Loved all of it. I feel we are right there with you in the way you film, edit, and talk to us. I love being in the ocean "getting salted" and especially under water in beautiful warm tropical waters. But, I do not scuba I snorkel. I loved watching the falafel making...it looked so delicious...I want to copy this. Watching really helps.. Hi!!! First: Thanks for make the effort to learn the language from the place your are visiting. I'm from the Caribbean and drives me nuts when travelers wants to live here but doesn't know how to even say "Hola" o "por favor". Second: If you enjoy book that include food as "characters" you should read "Como agua para chocolate" from Laura Esquivel. It should be an english version somewhere. I hope you like it!
Just a tip, falafel is made with soaked but uncooked chick peas. If you use cooked chick peas such as is typical in canned ones, it'll work but come out mushy and inferior to using uncooked ones, and tend to fall apart. Ideally you use dried peas and either soak them overnight or quick-soak them by boiling them for a few minutes then letting them sit for an hour or so.
Also, I've found that turmeric tends to be the "magic" ingredient that makes the difference between good and great falafel, along with coriander and cumin. Paprika's good too, especially the spicy kind. But, no dill or egg, real or substitute. I'm sure that what you made was delicious, but it's not really traditional falafel. I'm originally from the mideast so this is my native cuisine.

@@Maddie.taylor You're quite welcome, and the only reason that there are so many great recipes in the world is because people either tried to experiment with existing ones because why the hell not, made "mistakes" (and I use that very liberally and in no way critically), or necessity being the mother of invention had to make do with what they had on hand when they lacked some of the proper ingredients, and came up with new recipes that in some cases were even better than the original ones.
