- Very stylish mini boombox from SANYO. I like this one a lot. The motor for the cassette does not have a speed adjustment unit, so the tape speed with new belt is too fast. But in the long run, it will slow down as aging the rubber belt. I added the Bluetooth 4.0 along with DC isolator that removes the ground-loop noise.

These are very good quality. I have one but I never use it because the brushes inside the volume knob are broken, disabling the auto loudness feature and making it sound very weak on bass.
Replacing the volume pod or slider is easy, but, finding the same type of the potentiometer is difficult! Anyway, Thank you for your comment.

I couldn't believe there wasn't a speed pot on the board to adjust tape motor! And yet the motor didn't have one!

great work that is one densly packed little stereo you know that cassette motor you migh be able to pop off the back panel of it with a little screwdriver a speed circut might be in there ? mm maybe but u probly dont wanna go back in there well it dose have a new belt on it .
Hi Roger. Thank you for the comment. I have done to open up the lid of the motor, and found nothing but just the small motor without any adjustment unit. There are times that makers used these motors without adjustment, it's a pity. But I also can replace the motor with speed adjustment unit though. Thank you for the comment.

Good morning, this work, right, you adjust the speed of the k7 with the frequency of 1000 hz? Which app do you use on the cell phone to do the reading and adjustment?
The app is called Tuner T1 both android and ios has it. My tape is A-440 hz

I buy boombox local craigslist, estatesales, thrift shop, yard sales. Also use online seller on ebay, etc.. You can find them too.
