The lack of privacy drives me nuts with phones. I work with an old lady who watches cable tv & just being around that has driven shitty drug ads to my phone like what's plastered all over cable & I swear my ads have increased like oh they tolerate this many here so lets push more.
No, MF'r, I don't tolerate any of it & it's why I don't have cable. It's just 1 never ending ad & it's infuriating to b around & I'll swiftly stop using any app that does anything remotely similar to it. So anything that does not directly break the law they are not responsible for. If they wish to be a publisher and control what is on the site then they are responsible for everything on the site. And they need to make that distinction. Because as long as they’re protected under 230 they are considered the PublicSquare and may not take away your first amendment right.

I partly agree but there really have been quite a bit of "conspiracy theories" that turned out to be absolutely true. That makes things worse for conspiratorial thinkers of course because they don't know when it ends and it takes over their whole mind. Roswell crash used to be a "conspiracy" the government/nsa spying on citizens used to be a "conspiracy". The government drugging people and trying to figure out mind control ( MK ultra) was a 'conspiracy" that turned out to be true. It's a terrible pendulum because not everything is just crazy people saying crazy things. The other side of it is that because these things have been confirmed we have people that actually go crazy and believe every conspiracy and take things easy too far. It's human nature though.

That’s so f*cking awesome how much of a beast Chris is with regards to not wanting to perform old material. As somebody who goes to see standup comedy shows a lot, I really appreciate this, because a lot of comics will just do the same material over and over for years. And so I can’t ever go see them again. Chris is a beast and understands that. Once you film a special, start working on new sh*it. Nobody wants to hear old jokes. Im tired of comedians complaining so much about not being able to say whatever they want. You can, and you’re famous for it. But we live in a world where social media gives you a kind of reach that would be unimaginable even 20 years ago. Yeah, there’s gonna be people that don’t like your jokes, and that’s fine. But the more you complain about it, the more credence you give to that small group of loud voices that just didn’t get your joke. Ignore, move on, keep doing your thing and those that like you will continue to support you.
