- I know the last video was on the Fulcrum too, but I have footage to burn and it's all I find myself wanting to fly at the moment until the Strike Eagle hype starts to iron out.

Hi Fake hunter :)
@@Rell6000 nah, that's real.
The Fulcrum is such a beautiful jet. Seeing you upload a video on it makes me want to hop back into it.
The Apache’s countermeasures can be deployed by either crew members or set to automatic.
however when set to automatic any missile that is fired will set off the system even if its a friendly firing next to you.
Most likely he had it set to manual and didn’t have enough time to react.
Awesome video as always!
Something worth noting as well with landing - the nose will kick downwards as your stabiliser comes into ground effect and so you need to add a little more back stick to pre-empt it to avoid a nasty bounce. It takes a while to build the muscle memory but once you do, it's incredibly smooth to land. It's the little things like that which make it so much fun to fly IMO, far more than the other FC3 planes.
Enjoying the cinematography in your recent vids. Picture in picture fuel tank drop was a fun touch haha.
I’ve been experimenting a bit with the track file system, just wish you could rewind to save having to go through the entire track again…
@@Bullet4MyEnemy Yeah real shame that the replay system is so janky still in 2023. Think of all the free promotion ED could be getting if recording videos was less painful than plucking nosehairs. 🤷♂️
Love the fulcrum stuff
Very nice vids, and very good flying, Bullet. Keep 'em coming.
God damn man, your editing sure is top notch! Especially liked the missile cam on the wing.
Exactly what I have been doing these past few days also! Nothing quite beats the trill of an ambush in the Fulcrum
Nice I was also exploring migs last weekend
Your landing is absolutely correct.
Your videos make me want to learn the planes that you fly.
Dude I love the MiG-29, it was my first module on DCS. You just made me want to play it again.
It’s possibly my favourite looking jet fighter of all time
Great vid!
Great flying man 👍
On an unrelated note- cant believe the amount of peeps in dcs comunity that think that low-fidelity planes are a bad thing for the game ;(
I was disappointed in the responses on Enigma’s video as well; I think a lot of them were mainly single player people though, so I can sort of see their reasoning a little better if they don’t care for fighting against living human opponents.
Completely agree with Enigma, personally - especially regarding lower fidelity being a great way to get aircraft with limited documentation into the game.
man, great video, you have a new suscriptor :D
mate, you're delivering great content, you really do not need to worry about 'again'. Love the jet, love BF80, keep 'em coming, m2k would also be lovely, cheers
You can see the decent rate in the steam gage ;)
I’ll have to check this next sortie 👌🏼
As someone trying to learn the mig29 and get better at it, this vid was great. I also play on BF80's, so maybe I'll catch you some time. I'd like to ask though - how were you able to get the track file of a multiplayer match? Id love to review my flights.
The game saves them automatically, you just need to open them in the mission editor, enable external views and then save the changes, then open in the replay viewer.
Ryu1940 has a good guide on it.
TacView might be more useful for you though, every server reset the TacView file for BlueFlag is posted here:

@@Bullet4MyEnemy cheers!
Enigma is right, and thus they crucified him.
Nice sortie !!
Quick question on the EWR report, what's the difference between the BRG and HDG?
My understanding is that BRG is "what my bearing should be to intercept the target", and HDG is "where the enemy is heading", is it correct?
That’s right, yeah - so you know which way to look to find them, and which way they’re going.
@@Bullet4MyEnemy Alright, thanks :)
Looks very similar to the su27. What're the differences? Love playing the su27 got my first kills in it recently
No datalink, less missiles, shorter range, otherwise they’re more or less the same.
Though it’s much, much smaller - the Flanker is gigantic, makes a B-17 look small.
adding on, its also not as supermaneuverable (no canards, so it cant pull extreme aoa), but has higher thrust to weight and better sustained turn.
its also 33% cheaper than a flanker, but thats not a thing in dcs.
To get the footage you get, how long on average is that gamepay session and how much do you just get shot down or run out of fuel before seeing anyone/have an engagement?
Since the track file system is quite temperamental I generally fly one sortie and then leave the server whether I survive or not, keeps the server tracks short.
This sortie took about 45mins and for the day I recorded it on it was the first sortie I flew.
Sometimes I’ll have nothing but shit and die to stuff I never see, yesterday I was trying to make a similar video with the MiG-19 and kept flying into the AO for 20 minutes each time and got teamkilled 3 times in a row before even seeing an enemy.
It’s the luck of the draw. 🤷🏼♂️
@@Bullet4MyEnemy yea i feel that too, sometimes u have some luck other times not so much, quite a few times ill run into someone, have an engagement but we both lose eachother and it ends
is this the Flaing Cliffs 3 mig 29? i havent tried any of the low-fi modules yet. they look pretty good though if you just wanna jump in and play.
Yeah, you get the A, G and S models; this is the A model
@@Bullet4MyEnemy 3 variants? ace m gonna buy it its only a few quid
I’d honestly recommend waiting for a sale and grabbing the whole FC3 pack, 50% off it’s like £20 and you get all 3 MiG-29s, 3 Flanker variants, the OG Frogfoot and A-10A, and the F-15C.
Individually I think each one is £15 or £6.99 on sale, so it’s a no brainer to just grab the whole pack.
@@Bullet4MyEnemy i think i will. it would be nice to have a simple A10. i have the 'proper' one and god its complex
@@cyborgbadger1015
Haha the simple one is going to seem like playing Pac-Man or something by comparison 😅
just get back to war thunder so i can kill you ;) only messing mate, love your vids :)
Was playing it earlier actually, got quite a lot of video-worthy footage since the economy change dropped.
@@Bullet4MyEnemy I invited u to a nice custom match with a real life pilot :) next time brother! have fun
you need to master this better
gamplay is way to loud
Yeah, mistakes are made sometimes - you spend so long working on it without realising your headset volume is low that you end up being way off the mark with the final render.
Was annoyed at myself at the time, but you’re the first person to mention it, thought I’d got away with it 😅
@@Bullet4MyEnemy its not a matter of your headphones to quiet
its that in relation to one another the gameplay is to loud
thumbnail and all were awesome
but i couldnt watch it
I hope the algo recommends you once you got your mastering process down
Nah it was my headphones that were too quiet, I was boosting the volume to account for it without realising it was quiet because my volume was set low.
Been learning the 29a lately and wondering if you have any tips for climbing I tend to burn more than I need and only have about 5-10 minutes of fighting once im in the ao
Either get it over with as quick as you can, or climb gradually at mil.
Burner uses an ass ton of fuel but cruising at alt takes hardly any, so burning up to 6km+ uses about the same as climbing at mil across a couple of minutes; just depends which you have time for.
Once you’re level and cruising, or especially diving, back way off the throttle and fly based on your fuel range at the top of the gauge.
If you can maintain the speed you’re at and stay safe, there’s no need to keep accelerating, so don’t, you’ll keep it airborne for anything up to an hour that way.
You only need speed if you’re going to get jumped, and that shouldn’t happen with good situational awareness, but if you’re high up you can always dive for speed anyway.
