I'm gonna be real with you, for whatever reason, i started getting emotional watching this because I know how hard I've worked towards things in the past and I KNOW what has held me back from my true potential, every single thing you said in here is 1000000% facts. If anyone says otherwise, they're just being a little b*tch like you said. You've convinced me to try this. I'm doing really well in other aspects of my training but im going to add this into the mix. I recently in june cut off some social media, so the only thing i have left is facebook and i dont really open it other than to respond to comments. i took off instagram, tiktok, etc. i dont use anything else. i will do this too and i might document the journey, as im also cutting out alcohol. thanks for this video. I dont know why i was tearing up a bit but i guess its because im SO motivated to BE motivated and do great this year. A lot has happened and i can taste the success on the tip of my tongue and know that i will succeed. Just sucks that its gonna take a long time to get to the level i want, but i will get there.
I will make a video on this soon, but for now the best things you can do are get morning sunlight, grounding, ice bath, sauna, some light exercise to increase blood flow like a light jog, technical session, cycling or swimming, stretching, myofascial release massage with a spikey ball or massage ball, eat good natural foods, get plenty of water, prioritise your sleep to make sure you get enough hours but also good quality sleep by using blue light blocking glasses before bed, sleep in a dark room, have a cool comfortable room temperature and eat your last meal at least 2-3 hours before bed. Hope this helps! This is not everything but it's just some ideas to get you thinking about the kinds of things you could be doing on your rest days.
