Back in 1992 the Global Drum Project inspired me to ask the question that led to my attending Graduate School, "if music and films are being created all over the world, what is being done to preserve it?". I wound up earning my Master of Arts in the Preservation and Restoration of Motion Pictures and Sound Recordings and have been on the quest to preserve and provide access to motion pictures, sound recordings and digital files ever since.
